Superman IV: The Quest for Coherence-AVAILABLE NOW

Yeah, I definitely would. There is so much to see and explore in Superman IV.

Well, I guess I'll get back to it.

Thankfully, I still have the Laserdisc footage of the completed tornado and Russian missile scenes.

The metro club scene will still be accomplished through images from the comic book.

It must be done.

The biggest damn hassle is separating the dialog from the terrible temp music on the Nuclear Man 1 deleted scenes. Anyone know how that can be done?

Great to see you here- and thanks to Mav for the invite to be able to hang with the cool kids on the block.

I actually sent a PM awhile back at the Supes Cinema board to you, but didn't hear back---(In looking back, you might have been banned at that point?) so it wasnt until Mav emailed me that I found out about all the craziness that was going on over there.... I'm still pretty shocked. (Though I'm not suprised about Chance's comments--- I don't mind politics being different, but the way he expressed those differences just made him seem like a complete a_hole...)

Anyhow, about Superman IV--- I've actually been experimenting more and more with other techniques on the fx software while working on bits/pieces of Superman II's battle sequences.... the more tricks that come up, the more I'm tempted to make a plan to REALLY 'fix' almost all the fx in SIV with better composites (one of the newest ideas that is seeming to work to a degree is face-replacement.... wouldn't it be cool to replace the Supes' double's face in the Nuclear Man #1 fight with Reeve's face? Trying different faces on now...)

I regretfully have let the newer experiments get in the way of sticking to the schedule of having the clips done by June....... is there a target deadline you have for the whole project?

I'm also thinking that it's possible to maybe mix/rotoscope Mariel Hemingway into the 'dance scene' in Superman III--- to use for the dance sequence instead of stills....If there's a movie with Mariel Hemingway on the dance floor, this might be very possible, if you think that might be a desired way to go?

Actually that is not true. Neil S. Bulk was a waste of a Sperm!!!! He has to be the most arrogant and obnoxious person I have ever encounter on the internet. He used to post on some forums I visit as "INDYSOLO". Its was not until recently I realized it was the same person. It was a moment of relief to know that while the Devil may have multiple guises...there is only one!

There will be a couple shots taken from STM with Jor-El, but everything will be raw footage from S4.

That's cool--- Truth to tell, the good/bad about Adobe Aftereffects is that one CAN create almost anything.... (which is why my own cut of SII is almost endless now..ugh...) and there are almost NO limits, so it's good to actually have some creative parameters from the outset.

Do you still want Supes' colors in his costume sharpened, so the (repeated) shot of Supes' coming straight at you doesn't look quite so much like a cardboard cutout? Since this shot was used a quadrillion times in SIV, doing one 'rotoscope' of that shot can EASILY be composited for the other times in the film it's done- in other words, once one color adjustment is done for that shot, it can easily be applied to the twenty or so other shots that have the same foreground shot of Reeve in SIV- lmk.
