Look at the shot of him coming out of the Fortress with the light behind him. Then walking across the snow.
Anyone who tries to tell me that doesn't look fantastic is a bullshitter and I just couldn't see them getting it to look so good with a regular cape.

I wasn't going to watch the trailer because I don't want any pre formed opinions about this movie. Anyway I couldn't resist. Well let me say I'm now excited about this movie. I'm still not sold with the look of this picture and I hope the CGI isn't overdone but the feel and tone of it seems right. Hopefully this film can reintroduce Superman to a new generation and remind us all why he's still relevant.  |

On May 18th, Walmart is having a ticket sale to an June 13th Advance screening at your local cinema. Not all cinemas are doing this, but it'll tell you which local ones are doing the advance screening. Anyways, it's for 2D, 3D and IMAX screenings.
All the merch will be put out for sale, toys a bunch of t-shirts, books etc.
Employees will be given a Superman Cape to wear for the day too.. ( I have a few friends that work there, I'm hoping to score one or two of these, if the capes are cool.)
Just thought I'd give a heads up..

I cannot wait to go see this with my son.
It's really going to be so cool to see his reaction at his first Superman film in the cinema...plus we have both got our Super tshirts ready :-)

Though would prefer to see it in 2D, but that's gonna prove difficult.

The music isn't outstanding, but it is uplifting...and somehow has gotten stuck in my head. I take this statement back. I love it. I'm not a Zimmer convert but he's got something here that's gotten me. Damn it, I'm starting to get emotional about Superman again. Something I haven't felt since seeing STM on the big screen a couple of years ago with Ryan and Connor. Something that's taking me back to my childhood. Nothing about MOS has me worried. I really don't feel it will disappoint. Definitely getting emotional...June can't get here soon enough. |

yea, am humming and tapping them beats out on any surface I'm near. It's a really exciting time be a Superman fan and my god! I really can't wait for MoS.
I find myself wanting to watch Superboy, Lois and Clark and yes, even Smallville to tide me over until June 14th.
