When you think of Superman's voice which of these guys is your favorite or who captures the character best for you?

I love all of these guys, but I have to go with Collyer, with an honorable mention to Daly.
Collyer, as much as anybody else, DEFINED the Superman we have come to know and love. His Clark and Superman were more well known than the comic versions or the movie serial versions, and I daresay, the most ingrained in the public consciousness until George Reeves hit the small screen.
Furthermore, echoes of his Superman can be seen and heard in Reeves AND Reeve. On the shortlist of the most influential men on the character of Superman, Collyer ranks high.

I voted for MacLachlan. He was one of the few things I enjoyed from JL:TNF. I'd even take him as Superman in the reboot (IF Brandon didn't exist, that is) ;D Too bad he is too old now.
My second pick is Daly. I think he also has the Superman look, btw. At least it seemed that way when I watched him in "The Outsider" recently (it's a Hallmark channel movie). I really liked his performance in that movie, and it was the first time I saw him; I had only listened to his voice before that.

How bout an honorary tip of the hat to Danny Dark? Sure, I hummed and hawed, then voted for Collyer, but Dark definitely nailed down the 2 dimensional Superman and it was good for the series probably up until its end. I think he could have worked it out a bit more had it been a Superman cartoon, and not a package deal, but more than satisfied. A++

Discounting Collyer I think Dark played Superman longer than anyone from start to finish. Around 12 years. Daly's right behind him but he had a huge 6 year gap in there from STAS to Brainiac Attacks. THATS one somebody needs to fanedit.

You've never seen his sitcom "WINGS" before? No. Is he good in it? I loved watching that show when I was younger. It was pretty funny. The character Lowel was played by Thomas Haden Church who also played Sandman in Spiderman 3. and the guy that plays MONK. Can't think of his name. Great show, check it out sometime.

Beau Weaver deserves more love since that was a fantastic show even though it was short lived. Needs to be put out on dvd.
