Ok so just finished watching it! Brilliant! Will definately be buying it! Love the original voices. I can't see anyone else as Luthor, Batman or Superman! I hate the way they recast voices and have done already for the new one! Conroy owns it and anyone else is an epic fail! This video just demonstrates it! Daly again to me is Superman! I like George Newbern but Daly is and will always be animated Superman! I don't see why they don't interconnect these movies! Like they make a point of saying "This is in no way tied to DCAU". Can they not write it so it is? Every one apart from New Frointier could have EASILY been in DCAU! Now with Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths recasting AGAIN!! It's wired but when I watch like Superman Doomsday it take me ages to adapt to the new voices. They even recast the small role of Alfred in this. Got some lad that sounds slightly similar but it took me right out of the movie for a bit!
Superman and Batman have a gay Sam/Frodo moment in the sewers! There are plenty of them to be honest but all in all a good movie!

Waitin' for the blu! Oh man, it's gonna be awesome. I LOVED the storyline, which surprised me, as I thought it was gonna be cheap and hokey and lame, but nope, lotta fun.

Today.
Ho MAN, I had so much damn fun watching this. Like, a LOT of fun. I was sitting on the edge of the couch, Indian style, rocking back and forth smiling ear to ear.
It's basically a little bit of plot and a shit ton of fighting but still...seeing ALL those damn characters in a cartoon...yowzas...and the voices...God, Daly and Conroy are so PERFECT.
Loved it. These DC animated movies are really kicking some ass of late. Haven't seen Wonder Woman, though I hear it's rather good.

Didnt like it. Not a patch on Wonder Woman or New Frontier. It has little to do with it being an action/adventure story, it's just that had it no story whatsoever.
The original isnt up to much either, but it still had a lot of good moments based on pre-Infinite Crisis continuity that had to be thrown out for this movie to appeal to the casual fan.

Surprisingly, LOVED the look of Supes and Bats in this film--- best look so far.... pity that DC feels the need to give a totally different look for each film-
Conor, I TOTALLY agree with you- Bruce Timm mentioned in the first season of JL, that they didn't wish to connect things to previous series--- then did an about-face for season 2, and the stories were just stronger than ever after that. Why the decision was made to change voices/change looks repeatedly I think alienates audiences more than anything else. (It does for me, anyhow--- although I'm definitely glad that the look from "Superman:Doomsday" is hopefully forever dead and buried)
About Wonder Woman: Animated feature film--- not a WW fan, my cousin bought this--- but it was FANTASTIC. There's a surprisingly sarcastic witty edge to it--- but also a sense of epic size to it, that I had never seen before in any telling of the story. (I don't even feel that George Perez- who's a personal fave- got it quite right). HIGHLY reccomended, much higher than the disappointing GL feature imo.
Still--- overall, the DC animated features (not counting the horrible "Brainiac Attacks" and "Doomsday") are doing a great job imo. Bizzare that their live-action features seem perpetually stuck in limbo. ;(

So Wonder Woman IS good?
Yeah, Braniac Attacks and Doomsday need never be seen again by these eyes.

It's actually GREAT. Again, I initially had ZERO interest, as none of the comics (or the character) ever seemed all that interesting, but my cousin (who's into animation) bought it, and it's one of the few times with the animated features where I thought: "Wow, they could have done it live-action with this script and made tons. This is entertaining, smart, and funny". The humor goes places I REALLY didn't expect for a 'kids' film. The main writer is Gail Simone, who also wrote the rather dark/funny episode of JLU, with Green Arrow/Black Canary pitted against the Huntress/Question as well. Rent it! (or see if you can view it for free on the net)

Bought the Wonder Woman flick but haven't seen it yet. Been waiting to watch it with a nephew of mine who adores Linda Carter as WW. Hopefully soon.
So, CAM, you saw S/B: Public Enemies? Did you like it?

About Public Enemies: REALLY liked a lot of it. Particularly... #1: The Look of Batman and (most of the time) Superman. I was ok with the look of Supes in the JL series--- but never felt that the design allowed for a lot of personality. Love the look of both of them here- would not mind if they decided to keep the character designs here. #2: The committment to the testosterone level in this story. I don't want all the animated features to be so much action per se, but it's so rare to see that as (somewhat) of a mission statement from the get-go- and to be able to see Bats and Supes really look EXTREMELY cool kicking butt. (Love SR, but SR could have easily have used some of the macho superpower action here). A lot of fun. What I didn't like so much... #1: The bizzarro eyes of all the women characters. Even Lois looked strange. #2: The level of darkness of the story- starting off with the economy of the US being a mess... well, yeah, it explains how plausible it would be for a rich Luthor to get into office, but could have done with less darkness here. Still--- liked it far more than "Green Lantern" and is a different type of film than the WW film mentioned. Was a little weird to hear the word "bitch" in a dc comics movie. Not as good as some of the JLA episodes, but the emphasis on Superman and Batman and them as a team really shone. Definitely a 'keeper'.

So, I inserted the Blu-ray disc into my PS3 then nothing happened! I was pissed. Apparently I got an "Invalid Disc"! BAH! I'm heading to Best Buy after the bank closes to get another one. Hopefully this one will work!

Good to see they're making a series out of this, which means more Conroy and Daly! "Supergirl" is the obvious follow-up story, and really those first two story arcs are the best of the title IMO.
