Its funny, the only people who feel that way seem to be You, Chance, & Adam. Curious. Everyone else tells me that this is the most peaceful & the funnest the board has been in years.

Its like this Hurst. Most people come to this board seeking news & info on the Donnerverse of Superman. When they come to the Superman section looking for news, they shouldn't have to sift through 50,000 threads about silly shit that could go into one humorous thread. Don't get me wrong, I like silly. heck I'm the king of silly, I started the whole chaos thingy, BUT, I keep it contained to a single thread. I don't start a new thread every time I want to post a different funny picture. That would be stupid. Just like starting up a new thread for every silly & funny statement you have to make about a superman movie.
Your argument would have some teeth if there weren't instances that prove you wrong. For instance:
In the Diner section, the fellas like to start threads that have a movie quote in the title & then the thread is just a bunch of quotes for a certain movie. If I were an asshole, I'd say that all movie quotes have to go into one thread, but I don't. Because they are all about different movies & therefore are valid threads on their own, They are silly, everyone likes them, & I don't see a problem with them.
You on the other hand started a silly Superman IV thread, which is fine, but
then you started yet another silly thread about a character from the same movie.
Thats when it becomes a problem. The board gets cluttery & it gets hard for new & old visitors alike to find any real news they are looking for, because they have to sift through 50 threads like:
Superman IV is awesome!
Superman IV, did Jeremy pick his nose?
Superman IV, does Clark like Anal?
Superman IV, is it good with mayonnaise?
Superman IV, do wombats like it?
While I have no problem with any of those discussions, they can all certainly go into one thread.
Nope, thats not how it works here. Were more fair than that.
First, a suspension. If that doesn't help, more time off.
If that doesn't help, we put it to a vote.
If they suit you better & they will allow you to be the way you are trying to be right now, then I suggest you seek them out. Though, the ideal thing to do would be to just follow the rules here & stick around.
None of that matters.
If you are nice & cool to people here, then thats how they will see you.
If not, you will be seen as otherwise.

Even when I slip up & get catty with someone now & then, I always realize my mistake & apologize. For instance, I got a lil rude with Johnny Boy the other day, but once I read what I had posted, I realized I was being a dick. I hadn't broken any rules, but I still felt bad, because hes a chum, just like everyone here. So, I apologized. Thats the difference between you & me.

In closing, its obvious that we don't mind new threads as long they couldn't have obviously gone into an existing one.
As stated before, I don't shut down the different movie quote threads, because they are their own thing. But multiple silly observations about a single movie, don't need their own threads.
Simple, really.
If you TRULY feel this way about the Superman films as a whole, WHY ARE YOU STILL HERE??
