She's sassy and cute and amazing in all the Chris Guest movies. Like hilariously amazing. When a chick is sassy and cute and hilarious, that's just the tops, man.

I can never see what is so special about Parker Posey. Can anyone please elaborate? She is a very good actress, has spunk, is charming for instance. I loved her too. I just didn't care for her hair and some of her wardrobe. ;D

I've been a fan of hers since I saw her in Dazed and Confused. She's a great Indie actress. She really didn't get to show us what she's capable of in SR. I thought she was solid in SR, not her usual stellar self, though.

Listen to you guys, 'she was great in this and that', 'she has "spunk"' (how generic)
How was she great specifically in SR?

She wasn't sassy or spunky in SR. She was a total emo b*tch IMHO. When she wasn't chewing out Supie (even though she owes her very LIFE to this guy) she seems like a casterated version of the ballsy confident Lois we saw in STM. Maybe they wanted to tone her down because she had a kid?, I dunno.
Anyway Lois was portrayed as a very weak woman. SHe gets all emotional when Superman leaves to the point where she writes a despicable article about him. You KNOW that Lois didn't really mean that the world doesn't need Supes but she wrote the article anyway because she was overcome by her unstable emotions.

I guess she was playing the character with bitterness. Bitterness that Superman left. Bitterness that she has that Pulitzer for saying how they don't need Superman, and all of a sudden, people need Superman.

I hated this about her character. How dare she - or anyone - speak for humanity like that. Like he said, every day he hears people cry out for one
Crap writing.

You ever scorned a woman? And been SUPERMAN while doing it?
Superman's LUCKY that's all she said.
And Russ, you didn't say what's so great about Posey in SR, you just asked what's so great about her in general. Hence the sassy spunky good actress response.
And I personally liked her in SR. Love the rescue scene and when he flies her to the hospital. And all the other scenes, heck, why do we need to explain? SHe's great! "That's really something, Lex." "It's friggin' Gone with the Wind." The buncha times I saw the movie in theaters, the audience really laughed at her lines.

Lois looked like a complete idiot writing her World Doesn't Need Superman and then turning around and doing a complete 180 article reversing her previous opinion. She IS the stereotype that woman are fickle overly emotional and just plain crazy. It is really laughable... Lois says the world doesn't need Superman... yet he SAVED HER LIFE countless times!! Hate her. Bosworth potrayal was nothing special either... she very flat (so to speak ) and almost deadpan in all her deliveries.

I think if Posey and Bosworth had switched roles, it would've been a MUCH better movie.
Bosworth as Spacey's little sexy slinky lacky? F yeah, that's how they should've done it, dammit.

Yeah Kev, that sounds about right.. That would have been really good. Posey would have been a much more believable Lois to me. She would have a Margot Kidder vibe to her as well I think as Lois.

Lois looked like a complete idiot writing her World Doesn't Need Superman and then turning around and doing a complete 180 article reversing her previous opinion. There's no such thing as a complete 180. Complete means full, 180 is not full. 360 is complete. I think if Posey and Bosworth had switched roles, it would've been a MUCH better movie. Bosworth as Spacey's little sexy slinky lacky? F yeah, that's how they should've done it, dammit. Yep.

Uhh.... ihavenolegs I don't wanna insult your intelligence... but you're trying to be a smart-alleck when you are wrong. Haven't you heard of uhhh.. what reference would you understand?.... oh when Obi Wan says "That was some short-cut Anakin he went COMPLETELY the other way. Basically Lois wrote an article which was a COMPLETE reversal of her previous opinion. Again please don't attempt to correct people when you have no clue what you are saying.
