Bryan Singer made SR after X2, which of his movies did you think was better?
I thought X2 was much better and I'm glad that Singer is interested in going back to the X-Men franchise!

X2 shreds SR.
As I said in a different thread, they both explore issues and realism, but X2 had the action, suspense and the acting to match.
I like SR, but it seems overcast by a cloud. There's this dreary, bogging down feel to it. That's not why we pay to see superheroes.

Where's the option for both? I like both. Go with your heart. Personally, I like both very much. Both films are well-made and by the same director, and it shows/feels like it. But I choose SR easily because it just moves me at a deeper level and it's about my favorite superhero. I came to that conclusion last summer when I watched both within the same week with familly in Mexico, including 2 teenage nephews, and guess what, right after that, both of them began doing drawings and not of Wolverine or the others, but of Superman. I also bought them some Superman comics in Spanish that I had found downtown, and they liked them very much. I need to get them some more.

X2
The only two movies I saw in theaters 4 times.... Both got pretty fatiguing the last time. I guess that's why I stopped at 3 for Star Trek.

I saw X2 about three or four times, myself. That's something I don't do.

The only 2 movies I've seen more than twice in theaters are Narnia 1 and SR. I just enjoyed them soo much! ;D I think I saw Narnia about 6 times to be exact, and SR more than 10, and could have seen it more if I had had the time. I've seen Star Trek twice already, and I really feel like seeing it again. Trying to find the time, though.

Whilst I enjoy Superman Returns more, I fully acknowledge that X2 is the better made movie in every way.
I love Superman Returns, but...I dunno, it's weird, I think I like X2 more just because of it's truly bad ass awesome epic nature. Superman Returns ALMOST had it, but not quite.

X2
However, considering the circumstances, a more appropriate poll would be SR vs. X3.

X2 However, considering the circumstances, a more appropriate poll would be SR vs. X3. I think this thread is also appropriate since I took it that Adam was comparing two superhero-related movies directed by the same man.

It seems that Singer wants to return to the X franchise too...so the comparision between these films could prove very important.
