another superman movie- ? great - but this time i want it to be cornier and less serious- like the superfriends cartoon!
donner's film was good- but it was too witty and clever , it needs to be more super-friends-ish with dialog that 3-year-olds can grasp .

and what was with " krypton" since when is it all crystals ?? i hope this richard lester will fire everyone and make krypton look like it SHOULD : like it was made by popular science ,agazine's view of the future ( as imagined in 1950 ) .

I just started an 1980 petition for a colorised version of Raging Bull. Black and white?? What the heck!! This aint the damn 40s!

i say : colorise EVERYTHING - and for movies that were shot in color - make a B/W print then colorise it !
start with casablanca ! then make " lawrence of arabia " a B/W print and colorise that .

this reminds me - have you noticed at the theater how the screen is sorta too wide ? its like more of a rectangle than a square - i read somewhere that for it to look like that on your TV there would have to be black bars on the top and bottom of your tv-screen in order to duplicate the effect of the so-called " widescreen " .

thats the stupidest thing i have ever heard of , who wants to watch black bars on tv ? this " widescreen " business will never catch on , hollywood should get its act together and shoot pictures in a square like they do for Tv !
