Reeve had bulk. To me, he looked the same in the first two movies. Although he had some major weight fluctuation in the first. Some scenes he looked like a string bean and others he looked like he could easily tear my limbs off. I'd say he was more consistent throughout II then STM. He was a monster for III. As for IV, it doesn't exist to me so I won't comment on it.

Yeah I think his SII physique was sorta the middle 'average' of his shifting STM physique if that makes any sense.
I wonder why Reeve felt he needed to look like he was on steroids in SIII... when he screams in the junkyard it's like he has roid-rage!
In SIV, I think Reeve should have put a little more effort into being fit. I think that maybe once Reeve learned that SIV was gonna be terrible he probably stopped going to the gym or something.

It wasn't just his physique; the hairstyle was bad and the costume didn't look good either. *Insert SR reference here*

One thing I thought about in the Superman movies. According to Jor-El, he has a "dense molecular structure" when compared to humans, which aids in him being bullet-proof among other things. Shouldn't being that dense make him kinda heavy? Also, his molecular structure is dense....and that allows him to fly? ;D He's not that heavy, he's 2...225!
