The Otis/Luthor theme.
It destroys any air of seriousness that they try to give Lex.
Ottman's incredible Lex theme is superior in every way possible.

;D ;D ;D ;D
It sounds like a song you'd hear on an adult themed movie.
Nothing against Courage, it's just not a good song.

Sure, I think its a good tune on its own & I dig it because I loved it as a child, but it should have never been Lex's theme. It should have been Otis's theme & Williams should have had a separate theme for Lex.
As a tune on its own, its fine & humable.
As theme for Lex Luthor, it sucks balls & makes him goofy.
Ottman's Lex theme FTW. Its perfect & everything it needs to be.

1. Most of the SII score, especially during the credits at the beginning. 2. Otis/Luthor theme.

1. Most of the SII score, especially during the credits at the beginning. . The only problem I have with Superman II's score is that Ken Thorne wasn't given the full orchestra that John Williams had. How about that waltz that plays during all the consequenses of Gus's hacking (ATM giving away the money, walk/don't walk spanking)?

Me, Me, Me, Me, They won't get Me. It's quaint and for nostalgic purposes it's ok to listen to now, but for the longest time I hated that.

I used to really hate the Nuclear Man theme because it sounded horrible recorded off cable. My opinion took a huge 180 when I heard the remastered score on CD. I don't really HATE any cues off the five Superman movies. It's all good for me. I tend to skip Chasing Rockets just because nothing really happens in it.
But if we're going to include stuff that didn't even make it into the movies, then I have to go with Giorgio Moroder's rendition of the Superman theme. It's SO bad.

How about the pop version of "Can You Read My Mind?" That's fun in a cheezy, porno-muzak sort of way. Can't really hate any of the Supes music... it's all pretty listenable and even stuff like the Moroder pop is listenable in its own hilariously horrible way. That said... Supes music can be boring, particularly 'Saving The Factory - The Acid Test.' Ken Thorne wasn't averse to going through the motions, especially on something like Superman III. Oh, and the SR source music, I believe called 'Martha's Radio.' Country - even pastiche - can suck it.

But I will never hear a bad word said about Roger Miller's "They Won't Get Me".
SINGAPORE SLING!!
Just wish they had the extended instrumental version on the extensive box set.

I can’t believe you guys can actually bitch about the greatest music in the world, maybe because you aren’t all that classically trained? I can’t stand today’s ‘Pop’ music, - what styles are out there? People seem to love hip hop, rap, techno, dance, R&B, what other sh!t is out there? (Did I mention Heavy Metal! ) The only ‘Pop’ music that is gentle to my ears, is what was great back in the 80s, having said that, we can go back to the film scores with ‘Pop’ songs included in them. Top Gun, The Karate Kid, Beverly Hills Cop, Flashdance and of course Superman III - the 5 versions of side B done masterfully by Giorgio Moroder. The Main Title March is a fantastic welcome to the collection, as it’s unique in sound, and I love the big finale at the end, play the part that happens at 3:58 that is my favourite ( words of Superman) out of all the Marches! Now, I ADORE THE LACY WARFIELD THEME!!! The greatest Treasure Chest of Music from the Superman films!!! I was on the edge of my seat to hear the Montage track from Part 3, something I can Dance to!!! ;D My favourite composition from Thorne is ‘Boxes in the Canyon’, I wish that was a bit longer. Anyway, all I can say is The Blue Box, is my little piece of heaven. Superman IV is my baby. I'd rather be locked up in a prison, with my Baby of Classical music, than be on a beach, with non stop hip hop dance tracks, as it will ruin all that I went to the beach for. Music itself my friends, is the greatest invention in the world, and it's (and I'm talking about Symphonic,) think of all the elements that go into making that sound that is 'food for the soul'.I feel sorry for Michael Jackson, but even his music is not of symphonic proprtiions. I only listened to his music for about a day, when I went back to my Soundtracks!
