Bruce Timm (Superman: Doomsday, Batman: Gotham Knight) serves as executive producer, Lauren Montgomery (Wonder Woman, Green Lantern: First Flight) and Sam Liu (Superman/Batman: Public Enemies) will co-direct the film, and Dwayne McDuffie (Justice League, Static Shock) is writing the script. The cast confirmed for this film includes Mark Harmon (St. Elsewhere, NCIS) as Superman, William Baldwin (Backdraft) as Batman, Chris Noth (Law & Order, Sex and the City) as Lex Luthor, Gina Torres (Vixen from Justice League Unlimited) as Superwoman, James Woods (Shark, Family Guy) as Owlman, and Bruce Davison (X-Men) as the President. "Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths" is expected to be released around March/April 2010 on DVD & Blu-ray. supermanhomepage.com/news.php?readmore=6938#comments I see William Baldwin all the time, lol. His kid goes to the same school my child goes here in Santa Barbara. Edit: OMG, hadn't seen the pictures posted there, but I think I love the look for Supes in this movie.. he looks so much like Routhe! YES! supermanhomepage.com/images/crisis-on-two-earths/JLA-Lex.jpgThis look for Supes is SOOOO much better than the one he got in Public Enemies hands down, IMO.

I was hoping this would be a simplified version of "Crisis on Infinite Earths."
Disappointing.

I was hoping this would be a simplified version of "Crisis on Infinite Earths." Disappointing. I'm hoping against hope all of these Timm-produced non-canoncial movies are intended to build up a sizeable crop of heroes to participate in a DCAU version of COIE with the JLU that should have had a ton of thse by now. I never understood what the point of these films were. Half of them aint even accurate to the comics.

So basically, a PG-13 version of Grant Morrison's JLA: Earth 2?
I'm Barack Obama, and I approve this DVD.

I think..... I"m gonna like this one a lot!!! And Superman looks great so far! Public Enemies, on the other hand.. I dunno, it sounds too shallow.

It's just pure fun. A lot of fighting. A LOT of it. And it's awesome. If you're a fan of comics, seeing all those characters animated is just fucking incredible.
Plus it's Daly and Conroy and Brown. Hard to fail.

Woods sounds pretty good, I agree. Same for Harmon as Supes. Baldwin as Batman.... not really.

Yeah, no good.
Harmon does kinda sound like a good Superman, from what I heard. Always liked him as an actor.
And Woods just thrives as a voice actor. God, his work in Hercules is almost funnier than Robin Williams in Aladdin.

James Woods as Owlman looks to be badass. As for the rest, I'm still pretty meh about it. If it were part of the DCAU, I'd buy it without hesitation. Since it's not, I'll either just borrow it from a friend or rent it.

saw some bits on youtube- ULTRAMAN is going to be an unlikeable villain. ill-advised guido stereotype.

For anyone curious, the teaser for the next DC animated movie on the DVD is an adaptation of Batman: Under The Hood, the story that chronciled the ressurection of Jason Todd

It might "borrow" elements from Hush (as well as Death in the Family) but it's based on Jason's stint as The Red Hood

Ok so I watched it this morning. I enjoyed it. Not nearly as good as Green Lantern, Public Enemies but still enjoyable. It was like a really good episode to JLU.
Pros: Voices - Baldwin was great. Sounded very like Newbern. Actually ALL the cast sounded exactly the same. Wonderwoman, Flash, MM except for Luthor which didn't bother me but Batman which definately did. God I know I sound like I'm got Conroy Goggles (hearing aids seeing as it's voice only...........) but I cannot get used to anyone else. It's why I don't watch any other Batman animated show. I simply cannot get used to it. Conroy is the ultimate Batman. James Woods simply ruled.
Animation - Nothing spectacular IMO but still much better than a standard TV show. I wonder why it takes so long to produce these when they put JLU out on a weekly basis.
Story - Yeah pretty good but I don't think it makes an excellent movie. Enjoyable sure but this could easily have been a weekly episode and i'd have known no different.
Cons - NO CONROY!! Actually bugger all cons. The villians were good except Ultraman (Bad Superman) has an inner city accent or something going on! An attitude maybe.
Overall 8/10 because I simply had nothing to hate in it......bar the lack of Conroy and I did enjoy it. I could watch it again in a few months and still be entertained.

Conor,
Mark Harmon (St. Elsewhere, NCIS) voiced Superman. Baldwin voiced Batman.

Ooops my bad! Well then Baldwin was muck! Mark Harmon was good. I don't know why Timm and Co seek voices that sound like Daly when they can just get Daly to begin with!
