I got to hang out with Margot for about an hour two years ago at the MegaCon here in Orlando, my best buddy was a comic book review website writer and had a press pass, so I was his fearless photographer. Margot had just gotten there when we were getting to her and wanted us to help her set up her table. It was AWESOME.

Only when I was about to say goodbye at the end of it all did I let on that it was a massively momentous occasion in my life. The entire time, just played it cool, acting like she was anyone else, and at the end she goes, "It was a pleasure to meet you Kevin, thank you for helping me out here today!" and I say, "Ms. Kidder, Superman's my favorite movie of all time and will be 'til I die, and it's been the biggest pleasure in my life hanging out with you."

She was a SWEETHEART. A l'il nutty but a SWEETHEART.

That's cool. It's always tricky (and risky) meeting people whose work you've loved.... (the danger being a bad personal experience with the person leaving a bad aftertaste on the work) however, glad that your meet with Kidder turned out well!

I've been lucky enough to get to not only meet but hang out and sometimes kinda act with some people whose work I've loved almost my entire life. It's definitely something.

Never let'em know you're a fan. But if you do, be a fan of something that they never hear about.

If I were to meet Mark Hamill, I'd never mention Star Wars but I'd sure as shit mention Wing Commander and The Flash.
