You guys may have seen this before, but it's a new one to me.
They play a word association game, and Chris's association with Richard Pryor? "Problem."
Oy. He really comes down hard on Superman III.

"Superman IV?"
"Look forward to it"
Uh huh. Either he was lying to himself or to the audience based on his later statements.
Which makes me wonder, when did he realize that Superman IV was a piece of shit? Writing, shooting, post-production, release?
Hm, "No one person dies in a Superman film, perhaps somebody in Part 1, but not thereafter."
An entire planet worth of people died in STM, plus whoever was guarding that kryptonite in Addis Ababa and Harry. Superman II had plenty of deaths. Krypton guard at the beginning, the pilots in the helicopter that crashed. Deaths of Boog, Willie's dad and the three villains are implied in the theatrical cut. Willie in the deleted scene.

He's just being smug about the movies in general, even if wrong.

According to one of the Reeve books I have (might be "Man of Steel"), Cryer says Reeve took himself aside during production and warned him it will be a bomb Good interview, though felt slightly awkward
