Sucks for me that AT&T U-verse just put HDNet Movies into their "HD Premium" tier which costs another $5 per month to receive. Two weeks ago, I lost that glorious channel. I saw today's lineup earlier today and was pissed. I'd love to see theatrical S2 in HD. Anyone know where that could be acquired?

I don't know .
My family has Dish Network Silver HD (with three months of HBO and Showtime) to go with our new Widescreen TV.
The thing I like best about HDNet is the always show movies in their original aspect ratio (as opposed to most HD networks which show everything 1.78:1).

Uncut, no commercials, and OAR. It's like a Netflix channel.

Honestly, I don't see any difference between the HD broadcast and my DVD.

honestly- how bad is the dvd? The DVD is just fine, but you can tell it's an old master. The whole thing looks pretty pale and brown. The Donner Cut, which cleaned up the Lester footage, is a lot brighter and colorful. The Lester cut deserves a good restoration. It doesn't surprise me that the HD master of S2 is poor. It's probably the same source as the DVD.
