The magnetic poles move around all the time. Every so often, North and South switch.

Having read that article and looking outside the window at the immense volumes of snow falling here in London, across Britain, Europe and even South Korea today (!!!), I wouldn't be surprised if events similar to that of the movie 2012 actually start to happen in the next two years.

The Earth's wobbly orbit has caused many ice ages. And will continue to do so. This has also been the main cause of climate change. Just look at the Sahara desert. It was once a paradise, much like the forbidden zone. HAHA!
The Earth magnetic field is in the process of switching polarities within the next 1500 years or so. This happens every 700,000 years or so. The proof is in the rocks around us.
Fascinating stuff.
