we all know the recognizable quotes from the reeve superman movies. quotes like, "you've got me? - who's got you"? "Kneel before Zod." "You always wanted to fly Kent. Now's your chance!" "No pain no gain." etc...
well the object of this game is to pick very obscure quotes from any of the reeve superman films. i'm talking about quotes from minor characters and extras. people who maybe only had one line of dialogue. quotes that hopefully aren't easily recognizable.
here's how we'll play. a person will give a quote. first person to answer correctly with both the character and movie will then write their own quote and so on.
here is the first quote... " I tell ya that man's a miracle!"

Yep, it's the fireman in S3.
next one:
"There is no longer a need for separate nations in this world, no need for petty squabbles between one group and another."

From Zod's speech, perched on the Washington Monument.
Meanwhile:
The Eiffel Tower melts under the heat, sags, then collapses like a tin toy.

for me he definately mouths ..........."lois" as if he just remembered she was still in danger.
why did the audio not accompany this scene?
apolgies to OP as this side tracks somewhat from original intention.

I actually would like some clarification on an obscure quote. It might be in the subtitles, but I don't have access to the DVD right now.
In Superman III, in the beginning when they're looking at Webster pictures in the Daily Planet, what does Jimmy say after Lois says "He is good looking?" It sounds like something that ends with "...in the 50th" but I can't make it out.

That HAS to be the most obscure line in the entire series.
