Hey guys, I just recently caught the donna cut again. an watching the re-powering scene, it reminded me of the time I first read the script to parts 1 and 2. when I read it I imagined jor-el shooting out some kind of rays from his eyes causing kal-el to shake an stuf then as it all takes place he jus makes out his father stepping towards him. Did I create that myself! what did you guys think of the version we saw? an what did you imagine when u read the script?

Who is this "Donna" you speak of, and what does her cut of Superman II entail?

That reminds me of the classic schoolyard song from years gone by. Perhaps you've heard it:
Dinner, dinner, dinner, dinner Dinner, dinner, dinner, dinner Batman! Running down the motorway Car comes the other way Flatman!
Good tune.

Just after he picks up the green crystal and it cuts to The Daily Planet, the Warlock (as played by Julian Sands) swoops into the Fortress of Solitude and casts an ancient incantation that gives Superman his powers back. In return, Superman agrees to help the Warlock convince Richard E Grant that the mullet haircut is just not a good look, regardless of which century you're from.
And they all lived happily ever after. The end.

Donna Martin graduates! Actually I think I've seen storyboards with the Jor-El eye-beams shooting out. The current version has perfectly good raw material it's just put together badly.
