Seth McFarlene has to love Superman! There are so many reference of the movies in Family Guy, American Dad and The Cleveland Show. In Sunday nights ep of the Cleveland show, the is an ongoing STM theme. The son rolo acts like Superman and goes to save Cleveland and they've a black guy who says "Say Jim, thats a bad outfit"!
I'll try get some clips up!
Actually, will we make this thread a Superman reference thread??

I missed it. The Cleveland Show just doesn't click with me. I prefer Family Guy and American Dad. Does that make me a racist?

One Superman reference I remember from Family Guy is Peter saying various things suck while in a bar. "This sucks" "that sucks", and finally "Krypton sucks!"
That attracts the attention of Zod, Ursa and Non who run at him to attack him but the Phantom Zone snatches them up and they fly off. Typical Family Guy randomness. ;D

There is a recent episode where Peter is in a video store and you can clearly see STM and SIV in the background, very crude drawings though, but you can make out what they are.

There was a Superman IV joke not too long ago. Something about characters in a movie naming the title. Or something like that.

I like Supes reference when Joe and the police are looking for Stewie and ring Superman's bell at the FOS. A latin woman answers the door and keeps saying "Superman no here" regardless of what they ask her.

In a recent episode of American Dad, Stan went to heaven and they made a reference to Jim Henson/Kermit the frog being cast out. The next scene showed the two of them in the phantom zone with Kermit saying, "You will kneel before me, son of God!"
