First time I have heard of it. Why was it cancelled?

FUCK!
This pisses me off! Not because it was a game, but because that might as well have been a pre-pro animatic for a Superman movie!
God! Singer! WTF! I LOVE Superman Returns, but damn if that film didn't need something like this! He should have known that!

Dammit, that's the kind of Superman we've needed to see for a while now. (With tender drama thrown in between fights, of course)

Oh yeah, Factor 5. Sad that they folded. The Star Wars: Rogue Squadron series was top-notch.

Oh my GOD, they did the Rogue Squadron games?!?! Those were so friggin' fun.
This game would've ended the "No Good Superman" games curse. BAH.

That's the scariest Superman I've ever seen. Was he modeled on that juice-head from the Sandy Collora fan film? The action looks sweet, though.

Judging on the cinematic, as well as the kickass character models from the pre-production, we missed out on would probably have been a pretty kick-ass superman game.

The problem with Superman games is that Supes to way too strong and can fly. It takes the strategy out of it.
I'd love if they did one like Arkham Asylum. Superman is in a huge place like that where it's a big glass dome and it's got a red sun/light kind of thing that makes Superman human. He has to fight his way out and solve things like a man and maybe on the last few levels he gets his powers back or something.

That also sounds like it'd be an interesting movie, Conor!

I think any Superman game where you can't use his powers would be a boring prospect. Superman Returns (game) got around the problem by having Supes weakness be the destruction around him - finish a level before citizens and damage to property occurs. There were also levels where he fought in a large dome against aliens.

Just a shame that the SR game controls like shite. And had clipping problems. And if you want decent superman music you have to rip a supes soundtrack to the hard drive. And camera problems....

When the best thing about a Superman game is the fact that you can fly up into the clouds and get a beautiful lens flare, and then plummet to the ground, that's pretty fucking bad.

That also sounds like it'd be an interesting movie, Conor! Yes, it does. I love the idea of Superman without powers for several years on Earth. I guess Alan Morre wrote something like this in comics. In S2 Ive always wanted to see Clark suffering a lot more than that 2 or 3 minutes.
