With about 30 pounds of muscle, he would have made a fair Reeve body double for the Donner Cut.

He's got a few of Reeve's facial features but none of Reeve's more Supermanish qualities.

I got my picture taken with him when my dad and I were on vacation in California a few years ago. He was a nice guy, and to my surprise very knowledgable about Superman; I was wearing a Bizarro T-Shirt and he said, "We need some blue Kryptonite over here!" Interesting to see he's such a hard core fan. As far as I knew he was just someone who dressed up as Superman for a living.
He certainly bears a resemblance to Reeve, but yes, the watch and he wears is a distraction and when I saw him he was wearing a necklace as well. More power to him though to be able to make a living off of something like this.
This looks like it would be an interesting documentary if it were ever completed.

I agree he does look like him, especially from a small distance as you can see in the 2nd part to that clip. If however I were him and making a living as a lookalike, I'd bulk up a little bit and try talk more so like Reeve. He's sounds...dorky! It's looks like a bad impression which could be a little better!

I saw him on a tv program over here about lookalikes. If he bulked up, he would be a ringer for Reeve - he could have even got his ass on the Donner Cut!

Why doesn't he hit the gym? The scrawny f'uck would make a pretty good impression with a few stone of muscle added.
Oh, and do something with the voice, lol.

met him at a Hollywood photo shop back in 2003 and he scared the heck outta me. I was buying Reeve photos and he kept going on about how he had the same color eyes as Reeve, he is the same height as Reeve, his favorite snack is oreos- just like Reeve. I had to leave immediately not only because he was scaring me but his body odor was knocking me out. FYI- he was not in his costume at the time but was dressed in actual clothes. scary man.  |

I just remembered that he was at the Hollywood Collectors autograph show a few years ago when Margot Kidder appeared. He and his girlfriend showed up in a taxi and brought in boxes of memorabilia for Margot to sign. Yes, he was in his costume at the show.
He claims he is the illegit son of actress Sandy Dennis who gave him up for adoption. She has long since passed away so she isn't around to deny or okay the story.

This image is from a documentary that was shot about 2 years ago for a college project. There is another documentary that Chris is in entitled "Confessions of a Superhero" that you can find on quite a few video retailer websites. I've read that the family of Sandy Dennis has stated that these claims are completely false. Probably a rumor Chris dreamed up when he was high on crack or heroin. |
