Let's be honest.... ;D
I mean, IMO, her suit needed an upgrade; too much skin showing. Too many stars everywhere.
That said, this new suit doesn't look iconic enough. And that jacket looks too... hip? She's supposed to be a goddess, right? I think a skirt would look better.

I hate it. For some reason it reminds me of Jubilee from X-Men. Wonderr Woman in that costume looks like Wonder Punk-Rocker Girl. bah.. fuck that.

Better than this I suppose: I've always heard that era and look didn't go over to well. Even with the feminists like Gloria Steinam Then there was this outfit... There were a couple of good things about this movie but the outfit wasn't one of them. Just didn't seem "Wonder Woman" enough to me.

I think its Mike Deodato's work. Liefelds shit looks much worse. Note where he gets lazy and gives up on drawing feet and Captain America's Double D bra size.

Did anyone read WW 600? It sucks. Along with Superman 700 and Batman 700.
I don't get how they make these landmark issues so incoherent and shitty.

I really have no interest in reading it myself. When I look at that outfit I think more Donna Troy than WW. I wonder if this is their way of pushing a more realistic costume for a movie? I was thinking they were doing that when Kyle Rayner got a new GL suit a few years back.

The issue is just a series of short stories with a bunch of pinups in between. The 'new costume' story is the last (or next to last) story of about 5 or 6. There is no rhyme or reason to the costume switch! The start of the story, she is already in the new suit and there is no explanation at all! I TOTALLY felt like I was missing something...like maybe the suit was introduced issues before.

i don't even know what to say about that. The Captain looks like one of those dudes you see on the Discovery Channel or TLC that lives in his bed and hasn't been to his bathroom in 4 years. He probably had to call the Fire Dept. to help get the suit on him.

I used to like him to be honest back when he drew New Mutants and X-Force. Back then he wasn't so damn lazy and had a lot of detail in his panels. Though his style has always looked a bit peculiar he at least drew a lot. When he made Image he got real lazy with no backgrounds in most of his stuff and really went off the wall with his character designs...

I'll admit it. When Liefeld first hit the scene with New Mutants and X-Force, I was a fan. I was a kid, I had never seen a style quite like that, and his character designs were different. Then Youngblood came out, and it was pretty much the worst crap I'd ever read.
Now, I look back at nearly all of that X-Men stuff from the early 90s and I shudder. It's horrendously dated. Self-important. Poorly written (yes, even the Claremont stuff). But I enjoyed it as a kid, and that's all that counts.

Seems like it was almost official Marvel policy for guys to ape Jim Lee's style back then. Except Liefeld wasn't as good as Lee when it came to things like anatomy, proportion, perspective, etc. No matter if the style is exaggerated or cartoonish those things are necessities to good art cause otherwise things just look jumbled.
I guess Liefeld could claim the lack of those things in his art was on purpose but I call bullshit on that. I think I had to take an entire year of perspective drawing classes for my major. Liefeld probably gave up most of the time on background too save time and because he was to fucking lazy to even figure out where the vanishing point was. When your characters have their asses on their shoulders I suppose that can get a bit tricky.

The WW costume change is temporary much live every other radical costume change in comics. Has any significant costume change actually lasted?
