I don't believe it (IT'S THE DAILY NEWS FOR PETE'S SAKE, EVEN US AMERICANS KNOW IT'S RUBBISH), but it wouldn't surprise me if it's true.

It's what the tabloids do best. Both parties are dead, what's the point? Oh well, rubbish sells.

I'm pretty sure this is an old story or at least one from right after Reeve died. heard it years ago. Still think its bullshit. Reeve could have been bisexual who knows but this guys story is a fake. People try to cash in on celebs like this all the time.

I heard that Reeve was (or had been) gay many years ago. I believed it for a while.
I don't know what age I was but it was in the early 90's so I would have been in my early teens. I don't like to admit it but I was young immature, hadn't learned tolerance...a typical teenage boy I suppose.
I took the news quite bad at the time. A hero I had believed in was gay..it tainted my memories of the movies and I destroyed some Superman posters I had cherished.
Christopher Reeve and Superman were at the back of my mind until his accident where I learned he was a bit of a womaniser and had kids. I was still a teenager and felt stupid that I had believed him to be gay and felt the way I did about a hero from my childhood.
I am embarrised to admit the above but I can only say that it was childlike behaviour that I have thankfully grown out of. I hope you guys and gals don't judge me on it...as Supes would say "That guys gone."
All I can say now is that even if he was bi..that's just fine with me. Chris was and will always be my hero.

Let's be real, though, what celeb hasn't had a gay rumor attached to them at some point? It's almost signifies that you've become a real Hollywood star.

And let's be honest, does it really matter? A celebrity's personal life is just that, PERSONAL!
Reeve made us believe a man could fly, he's Superman to our generation. His work after his accident made him a real life Super Man. So, does it really matter if he had a "gay" affair?
We all know the answer to that.

Even if he was gay it doesn't mean anything to me. I really don't care. Its his personal life and he wasn't hurting anyone. There's nothing wrong with being gay.
Besides plenty of people attached to Superman are gay. Jack Larson is gay. Kevin Spacey has had gay rumors surrounding him for years. He shouldn't be ashamed of that if he is but its his choice to come out or not if he is. Its really a non issue and this day in age I don't get why people are so shocked that they have to buy these tabloid rags and spur on the bottom feeders that work for them.
Nobody has the right to "out" someone as gay except the person themself. If they feel the need to thats fine. If they want to keep it private thats fine too.
This porn guy and the tabloids are just trying to make a dime off Reeve. It has nothing to do with news.

I couldn't give a fuck if he wanted to experiment or not. Being gay is hardly a crime
Well, unless you're from Atlanta I guess.
No, its the tone and exploitation of the piece that annoys me

Let's see...a young, good looking, stage actor, in New York City, in the 70s, might have experimented with homosexuality? STOP THE FUCKING PRESSES!!!!!
I'll make it a REQUIREMENT that all future Superman actors enjoy the company of a man a few times if it means we'll get a performance like Reeve's.

Interesting in that it makes for biographical info on a man I will admire for the rest of my life.
But it doesn't faze me. In fact, I'm not really surprised
