My YouTube name is CommanderCourage, and my current project is called "Superman: The New Movie." It's best described as a marketing campaign .

And here's my in-depth description which accompanies the first trailer of the project:
This is just the beginning. I have ideas for 3 or 4 more Superman "films" as well as World's Finest and Justice League "films."
I know "Smallville" isn't exactly at the top of everyone's fandom list around here, but I wanted to share them anyway. Enjoy.

And here's my in-depth description which accompanies the first trailer of the project:
"Smallville" is my favorite TV show, but unfortunately it's run its course and probably should have ended after the 5th Season. With all the cast changes next year it just won't be the same.
This is the first in a series of trailers for a film based on the "Smallville" storyline. In reference to the title of an aborted Superman film based on the "Superboy" TV show, I'm calling it "Superman: The New Movie."
As I said, the "Smallville" television series is the basis for this project, but it also serves as a vague history. "Superman: The New Movie" is not a direct continuation of "Smallville" and there are several plot and character elements which will differ from established series continuity. I will address some of them here and expand upon them as the project moves forward:
CLARK KENT/SUPERMAN: Given the lack of a Superman uniform on the series, one will have to stretch their imagination a bit in regards to when "Superman" is in action. For the purposes of this project, when Kal-El is in the blue shirt and red jacket, he is "Superman." Honestly I've grown tired of seeing him wearing it almost every episode in recent seasons, but I'll use that to my advantage here. When he's wearing anything else, he's "Clark Kent." I'll work in shots of him in glasses as much as I can, but there's not many of them. When he's with people who know his secret, the glasses are unecessary and it becomes a non-issue.
CHLOE SULLIVAN/LOIS LANE: I'm a supporter of "Chlois," Chloe Sullivan being Lois Lane and am convinced that was the original direction the series was headed in. Allison Mack's Chloe will always be Lois to me, and this will thusly be reflected in this project (and all my videos for that matter). Erica Durance's character does not exist in this version of the story. The development of Chloe's pseudonym "Lois Lane" will be dealt with eventually.
LEX LUTHOR: Lex has embraced his dark nature, but conducts his questionable practices and experiments undercover. His public face is of a respectable business tycoon. He and Clark are still friends in this version of the story, their dynamic much as it was in the early seasons of he series. Lex hates "Superman" not "Clark Kent," and when he learns the secret he feels betrayed which drives him to further madness.
THE KENTS: Jonathan and Martha are both alive and well. Neither is involved in politics, remaining farmers in Smallville. They continue to provide moral support and guidance for Clark.
That's the backstory. Here's the plot of "Superman: The New Movie":
Clark adopting his reporter persona and beginning his heroics as Superman. Chloe working her way to the top at the Daily Planet. Lex, embracing his dark nature, putting the pieces together about Clark's secret (and his weakness). When Lex's scientists (Dr. Hamilton among them) uncover a part of Clark's spaceship, Clark works to recover it before Lex can unlock its secrets. Chloe gets in over her head investigating Lex and is kidnapped. Lex's knowledge of Clark's true identity adds a new dynamic to their neverending battle.
This is just the beginning. I have ideas for 3 or 4 more Superman "films" as well as World's Finest and Justice League "films."
