So how many beers does it take you to enjoy any one of the Superman movies 1-4?

STM- drinks are just casual
SII- either version is fun, but the "gags" in lesters cut and the dodgy bits in RDC are so cringeworthy a bit of a buzz is nice.

SIII- its a schizo movie. half of it is an amzing superman movie and the other half is a servicable richard pryor caper-comedy.
six-pack. or a cocktail and a few chasers.

SIV- bring it. i dont even want to be aware of what im seeing and iwant it all to be a fuzzy bad dream when i wake up.

3 + 4 are bottles of beer

I need a little herbal help from mother earth, along with an 18 pack of beer so I can finish watching IV in its entirety. III isn't that bad. Reeve and O'Toole make SIII very enjoyable. STM and SII are great to watch, there's no need for drink to enjoy these films. Although, it wouldn't hurt to have a nice glass of Scotch or Vodka.

Hmm, I should've probably thought about the format of the poll better, seems it doesn't cover people's answers as much I originally thought.

For me, 1 or 2 budweisers for STM, but I could happily go without because it's enjoyable regardless. For SII, maybe 1-3 on Lester version and the RDC probably a bit more.

SIII and IV are quite a bit different. SIII, 6 beers so that I am near enough medium drunk, if I haven't ate much before hand. SIV, I like to get absolutely hammered/wasted on any drink available, to enjoy through the alcohol goggles.

SR is like SII for me.

These days, I don't do it anymore because I decided to limit my viewings to once a year. It occured most when I first got the first release 1-4 box set though, which was a good few years back now.
