WHAT?! I hadn't heard of this!

I'm actually intrigued, the comic series was AWESOME. Not so sure about the art style used in this, need to see more, but it doesn't look quite exactly like Frank Quitely's, which was very unique.

Here is hoping is GOOD. BTW, my apathy towards all things Superman has been such lately that I haven't even seen the latest animated movies with Supes and Bats. Only saw Supes/Doomsday (which I liked) and JL: NF (liked it too).

The miniseries was great, though I have a hunch the movie itself won't look as nice... sigh

^It's not on youtube yet, I think. And yeah, the tone of the series is so unique and quirky, I'm just not expecting much. Hope it ends up being half as good at least. I really think that this story deserved the Pixar touch. Oh well.

Here is hoping part of his date with Lois makes it in the movie..

Well, I'll be damned. And it's got Ed Asner doing the voice of Perry White!

Hands down my favorite Superman story since Alan Moore's "Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow". Possibly my favorite Superman story ever told, and every bit as momentous and important as Watchmen or Dark Knight Returns.

That being said, I'm not sure this will translate very well into a 70 minute animated cartoon.
