It would be interesting to hear about any Superman Peters/Ratner and Peters/Singer stories.

I often said WB could make a killing from a book about the production issues with Superman from 1990-2005. There are at least 10 projects that could have interviews, pictures and artwork listed. It would give them a chance to recoup some of the money spent on the projects that came before Superman Returns.

I bet they'd tack on the production costs of that book to Superman Returns' budget too.

But of course they would, it is Hollywood accounting after all.

Yeah, Hollywood Accounting, gotta love it. Did you know that Return of the Jedi has yet to make a profit, according to Hollywood Accounting?

Check out Superman vs. Hollywood. It goes into some amount of detail on all the failed production attempts, but nothing you probably haven't read from the web. So, maybe don't check it out, but just know that someone put a book together on it.

Oh, yeah, I forgot about Cop Out. It was OK.
But I didn't get the early Smith stuff, granted I'm still 29. It was a film for people a bit older than me when it hit.
