John Glover just came into my restaurant. Shook hands, exchanged names. Very tall. Seems really nice. I wanted to say something about loving him in Smallville, but I froze. Ah, well. He'll be in again, I'm sure.

VERY cool!!!!!
Lionel, Lex, & Johnathan were the only great things in an otherwise mediocre show.
I daresay I liked Schneider better than Glen Ford. But, thats just because he had more to do, I suppose.

Glover is awesome. Loved him in Gremlins 2.
Lionel Luthor was the best part of that show.

I drew him a picture of Superman saying, "Look, can you please ask your son to stop trying to kill me?" I didn't give it to him at his table, that's kinda tacky, but the manager was gonna try to give it to him when he left.

In an unprecedented move, I edited it for being immaterial. I didn't have to bring that up. Dunno why I did.

He came in again tonight! He's really damn friendly. Said hecko. Told me he liked my tie, haha.
As he was leaving, I said, "Here you go, my friend," and gave him a drawing of Superman, animated series style, like I mentioned before, saying, "Look, could you tell your son to stop trying to kill me? Please?"
He looked at it and immediately laughed and asked, "Did you do this?" I nodded. "This is great! I'm going to send this to Michael."
"That'd be pretty awesome," I replied. He thanked me and left. It was fucking great.
Frank Langella was supposed to come in tonight, not with Glover, but never showed up. That would've been INCREDIBLE. Two Superman mythos actors in one place in one night. Ah well.

If Langella had come in with a party of four I know exactly what I would have said to him. "Hmm...curious quartet!"

Langella was cool as Dracula, too. Had they made the Mankiewicz Batman script into a movie in the early 80s, Langella would have been an awesome Bruce Wayne.

Langella as Batman? Dunno if I could imagine that working. His Batman voice would have been great though.

Awesome stories here. Glover seems like a cool dude. Langella would've been awesome to see. Ha, I quickly looked him up and he's from Jersey.
