Hi Everybody!
I have many publicity photos, magazine scans, promotional pieces and rare contact sheet/B&W stills (behind-the-scenes, etc.) from Superman-The Movie. What's most important to you to see first? I'd like to continue to work on the rare contact sheet/B&W stills. Your feedback is appreciated.
Thanks. ;D

Welcome Mr. B -
Definately keep the contact sheet revelations going - the behind the scenes stuff is fascinating.
Would like to see more rare promotional stuff like the East river/Brooklyn bridge shoots if you have them - the unseen stuff keeps Reeve alive in my eyes...

I'd defo like to see more contact sheets, the shot's of Glen Ford with young Clark (who's not even seen in the film) lifting anvils, whacking pegs into the ground etc were astounding! I wonder if these scenes were actually filmed? To be part of a montage perhaps? Keep up the good work Jim

Can't believe there are people out there willing to rip people off and use someone else's reputation and name as a way of selling items...
Absolute morons.

Yeah, I came across these recently and knew these were not going to be the high quality prints the seller purported them to be. I'm glad stuff like this doesn't deter Jim Bowers from sharing with us fans his extensive collection of Superman photos.

I've pointed some of these out to Jim before. There's some real opportunistic jerks out there.

Wow. Now here's something you don't see on ebay every day. An autographed Superman II Special Olympics program. It sold for big bucks too; tinyurl.com/56wjnmWe can only hope that Jim Bowers bought it so we can all get to see its contents.

What's with the trademark "tm" at the end of every "capedwonder"?
Is Bowers really that pretentious?
How can you trademark a name which he ripped off a film in the first place anyway? At least have the courtesy to be original!

So, all I've gotta do is take old Star Wars promo pictures, clean them up and put my name trademarked in the corner and I'll be a part of the Star Wars saga because they will officially be Kevin Skinner Star Wars pictures? SWEET!

At least have the courtesy to be original! I wouldn't see he ripped it off, more like he paid homage to it, much like most of us on these forums with our user names. As far as whether he actually trademarked it, I never really thought about it. I guess it's possible.
