So I've been reading...all these.
Minute Men: Excellent. Darwyn Cooke was the PERFECT man for the job and this is by far my favorite of the miniseries. In a perfect world, this would be the only extension of the Watchmen universe, as there is the most untapped potential here.
Silk Spectre: Meh...not feeling this one. Though the Comedian makes an appearance in the latest issue and livens things up. Finally looks like it's going somewhere. The artwork leaves something to be desired as well.
Comedian: Meh...probably the worst of the bunch. Like with SS, the most recent issue finally gets things into gear but it's already blown past the time period I'd be most interested in in the Comedian's life (though he seems to be popping up in almost every other book so we'll see).
Nite Owl: Better than SS and Comedian, but not much to it really. Mediocre.
Ozymandias: Good stuff, really enjoying this one. Veidt is one of the most fascinating Watchmen characters and seeing his backstory and inner monologue is very interesting. Also I'm eager to see where his search for Hooded Justice leads (one of the great unanswered questions of "Watchmen").
Rorschach: Like Night Owl, mediocre. Just a by-the-numbers story, nothing special. It's just gotten started though so there's still time for it to turn into something.
Dr. Manhattan: JMS delivers the goods on this one. I really like the idea of it taking place inside the original story during Manhattan's self-imposed exile. Not sure where's the story's headed, but I can't wait for the next issue. I don't want to speak too soon but if done right it has the potential to be the best of the miniseries!
