Well, I mean, the dude's from South America or something, English is most definitely his second language, so ripping on his English probably sent him for the hills. He seems to be a VERY sensitive dude.
But c'mon...for THAT? Ugh.

Supersebastian, since you're work has always been top-notch, anyone else who might have said 'Definitive Chris Reeve Bust' I would have been skeptical--- but I'm happy to say that I'm not suprised at how fantastic this is, based on all your work with the Reeve likeness. Awesome work!
On another note: I'm curious- I know you mentioned trying to approach DC/WB at one time..... did you/were you ever trying to do a comic adaptation of STM or SII at one time? I thought I recalled you mentioning this, (memory is bad, could be wrong) would you ever want to share any sample pages on that in the forum? Would love to see those, too!

Holy shit, that's badass!
What's it made of? How do you get the eyes to look that good? Is the shirt/cape fabric? If not, it sure looks like real fabric. Well done.
By the way, are you the same Sebastian that was around other forums years back and involved with the 88mph Studio's Ghostbusters revival?

I'm going out on a limb here but the logo is Action Costumes makes replicas of the Superman costumes. Perhaps Seb made the bust for them to model their costumes?? And that is where it came from?

About the comic adaptation, that is a project that Ilya Salkin have for DC comics and his manager tell me that he would like me to do it, but that is something that he say to me in Facebook, I don`t know if some time that can happen, but I like the idea to do it by myself, so as soon as I made something I will let you know. By the way, are you the same Sebastian that was around other forums years back and involved with the 88mph Studio's Ghostbusters revival? hecko BamaBrad Here is all the detail of the bust as it is on E bay. •This Bust had been made using one of the two Mold Casts of Mr Christopher Reeve made for one of the original Movies. So the proportions of this bust are the most accurate you can find of the real actor. From that cast we sculpt all the other parts of the head, corrected and put some life to the face itself. • The Cast of the Bust had been made in a Very Durable Fiber Glass. • The Eyes are High Grade Professional made prosthetic eyes specially made for this character. •The Eyelashes and Eyebrows are fake ones add one by one in some parts. •The paint had been made by a professional Airbrush Painter from the film Industry. •The Costume come perfectly attached to the bust and brings the little upper part of the chest and cape emblems. They are made based on the 80´s style costume we sell. •The Base had been made in wood and painted in black, it comes with a plaque that says “The Man of Steel 78 – 87” made in a glossy metal •The Sculpt and complete project had been made by Sebastian Colombo & Sebastian Molchasky Sebas Colombo is a very well-known Artist and Superman Specialist. Sebastian Molchasky is a SFx Artist that work in Films, TV Shows & Commercials

That's awesome that Ilya Sankind & his manager want you to do it---
I do think it's odd that a comics adaptation (at this point) has never been officially done by DC--- John Byrne said that he was set to draw an adaptation of Superman II around the time Superman Returns came out, but that DC changed their plans and did the prequel comics instead.
Seeing as how 'blah' most of DC's art is on their comic book adaptations (Most seem to just do it for the money without any real interest and it seems to show- or else the deadline is too fast).....
I'd rather see the adaptation done RIGHT and well done by someone who cares, than have a rushed one by someone who didn't care or was just illustrating it as another art job.... knowing your passion for the project & skill, you'd definitely be the best guy for the job, HOPE WB/DC eventually pays you to do it!

Glad you decided to be forthcoming with that little tidbit. I suppose starting off with an exact likeness of the subjects face greatly reduces the likelihood of someone later photoshopping your work to point out where you can improve it.
