warner bros has released a collection of films on two discs.. like a sly stallone set of four movies, lethal weapons series, etc. now they are doing it with the superman films. it includes superman 1-4, but no donner cut or returns. Jacob whv.warnerbros.com/WHVPORTAL/Portal/product.jsp?OID=50155

I got one of those for Lethal Weapon. Great if you just want the movies, but the transfers are shit.

Looks like two flippers with two movies on each disc. Ewww. I guess the theatrical version of STM also got the boot.

now that VHS is extinct dvd's have been plummeting in price so dept. stores practically give them away.
go to walmart or target and you'll see these themed combo pack dvd's real real cheap. 'sokay - its about the same $$ as renting them!!

Actually it might be a 4 disc set containing the 2001 releases. A friend of mine bought the Lethal Weapon set, and it was just the four original (non directors cut) versions in a dvd case. WB has been doing this to dump older stock for a few years now. Since newer (better) versions of these films are out, the only way to dump the old ones is to throw them together for 20 or so bucks.

The specs say:
Media Quantity: 2 Media Sub Format: Multi Disc Packaging Type: Double Amaray
That means it's two discs in a thin case with a hinge inside for the second disc. I've seen these "franchise collection" things before. They just slap two movies onto one disc. I remember seeing a cheapy set for the Lethal Weapon movies like that, as Jacob described.
