It's my day off tomorrow. I haven't watched the theatrical version of STM since it came out in that box set, and even longer for the theatrical version of SII. Plus it's been a while since I've watched Superman Returns, so darn it, I've decided to watch ALL three tomorrow!
Although, if I find the KCOP version online tonight, a good version that is, I may forgo the theatrical since it's been even longer since I've seen the KCOP cut.
Tomorrow shall rule. HARD. YEEEEEEHAW!

I watched STM theatrical today. That's all I got around to. It was enough. I wept a few times. I dunno why. A happy kinda weeping. It's just such a beautiful, perfect movie, dammit.

There are a few circumstances in life where it is acceptable for a grown man to cry. Seeing Superman: The Movie is one of them

Every single SHOT looks like a painting. Pause it at any point. Looks fake, it's so damn beautiful.

When Harrison Ford dies, men around the world will be given a free "cry your eyes out" day.

Wheat field scene gets me every time as well. Actually the whole Smallville part of the film including Jeff East's treck to the fortress is simply beautiful and very moving. Unsworth was an absolute master. In fact everyone who worked on STM was very much at the top of their field.
To everyone (and I mean everyone), who worked on SUPERMAN THE MOVIE! I LOVE YOU ALL!!

Yeah, I wish there was a way everyone who worked on the movie could know how much it's truly loved and loved HARD.
