^^That's the saddest thing about the Superman situation right now; It will be a big shame if Brandon doesn't do more Superman movies, especially now that he looks a lot better for the role and has more acting experience as well.  It took about 20 years to find a capable man to do the role justice (for the big screen), and when they found him they don't do more Superman movies. What a waste of talent. Oh well, here is this pic from last Comic-Con. I can only imagine how excited those kids were for meeting Superman.  |

I foresee a complete "darker" reboot in Supey's future. Think Emo Superman. It'll be a shame if Routh does not return. |

but stargazer is right, it does make you want to projectile vomit when you look at that pic of welling. I guess it was the only way they could get him to wear a 'costume' because I remember him saying he didn't want to wear the traditional red, blue and yellow outfit.  |

i hate smallville and have not watched it since season 2. is this the "suit" on the show??? i say suit in quotes because it's not a suit. he's wearing a fucking trenchcoat and t-shirt! lol...so bad.

About Welling's "costume", all will be explained during the first episode of season 9. Not that you guys care or anything.

^It's not just the costume for me, it's everything else as well, including the acting... yep, I just Can't see Superman on Welling. He doesn't resemble or embody him at all for me. Welling looks nothing like this Superman drawing (facially). theages.superman.nu/seum/milkad/Chris and Brandon and even George to a degree Do. They look like men. Welling looks like an eternal college guy/pretty, model boy. Not my idea of a Superman. |

Which is why he doesn't really look his age. Brandon looks more matured in the face, and now that he has got even bigger, he looks probably the best possible Superman ever. He looks to me like he is bigger than Reeve was in Superman III. Why WB don't see the potential in Brandon, I really don't know. |
