LOL!
At the end of the day Man of Steel meets Batman is just going to have to be an all out great entertaining entry so word of mouth gets around. No pandering to fans, either comic book, Donner or cgi. Respect the audience. Give them a great thrill.
Either that or ramp up the production value, having some clever editing heightening "tension", Have Ben Affleck die of a drugs over-dose just before release and... sorry, I just can't think of any further positive comparisons from TDK but you get my point.

In this day in age? Good luck with that. They'll be too busy trying to he trendy and sell as many toys as possible. It's the same team from MOS back.
