Re Kevin Costner's dialogue delivery...
Agree, this became very apparent and kind of annoying with Costner pausing and repeating many words in the middle of a sentence, but I guess this was his way of trying to lend more gravitas to the role and the situation. It worked some of the time though, and I have to admit I think Costner is one of the strongest things in MOS and was the perfect choice for Jonathan Kent.
Would love to see more flashback scenes in MOS 2 with Costner but doubt that will happen.
Definitely want to see more of Diane Lane too!

Costners one of the few things that worked. He was a right choice. It's just that the writing let him down from time to time. Costners kind of like Gary Cooper in that his delivery can sound flat but he's got a lot of simple man earnestness.

"Dragonfly" was a pretty good movie. I also think so. The flying scenes were very realistic. Although, it was quite sad when those spaceships and explosions wounded it, and it died :-(

A casual watch of S3 just shows how wrong the character was portrayed in MOS. Would Henry Cavill's Superman help Richard Pryor get a job? I think not.

Not not that but Reeve's Superman felt responsible for his actions or lack of actions that led to Zods attack. He didn't mean it to happen but be owned up to his mistakes. Flying the flag and roof piece back to the White House was a great touch of symbolism for that.
