Ron Goldman and Nicole Brown Simpson might still be alive today ... if only they weren't Reeve Only People. Brad, I know you're a professional writer, so wanted to check the correct punctuation with you. Is it correct to write "Reeve Only People", or should it have a hyphen, i.e., "Reeve-Only People"? No hypen, and here's why. "Only" is an adverb, which never needs a hyphen when used as a modifier. "Only" is a form of "one." So you could write, "Reeve is the only Superman I like." or "Reeve is the one Superman I like." Only or one are modifiers, but only is the adverb form. Normally, you'd write "Only Reeve People" and words ending in -ly are adverbs (thus no hyphen). Just because the words "Reeve" and "Only" are switched does not change the rule for adverbs and hyphens. I know no one gives a shit, but I thought I'd tell anyway. So, "Reeve Only People" is the proper usage. Carry on.

So, does that mean if you talk about a person who speaks quickly, you'd write "a quickly speaking person" and not "a quickly-speaking person"? But if it were someone speaking fast, could you then write "a fast-speaking person" rather than "a fast speaking person"?

Those phrases are so awkward that I wouldn't even write them that way. I'd just say, "he speaks quickly." Or "he's a fast talker."

Ok. Now, back to the more important question: who are the Reeve Only People? I told you, I fixed the link when I quoted it.
