folks, lets get things cleared up here, lets explain it all and clear the air.
enrique "riqqy" little-man, is not a bad guy. yes, he can be exasperating, but whats happening is two things at once- on one hand he's being ATP-for-MoS. what ATP was for superman returns, riqqy is for Man of Steel.
secondly, and more importantly, he really isnt trying to be a cruel vicious douche nozzle ass-hat, he's doing the shtick from "GRAN TORINO". remember how clint eastwood would go to the barber shop and they would just say hateful rascist shit at each other? but they really didnt have any real negative emotional reservoir against each other. it was just salty old men ball busting because they just did NOT give a shit anymore. if eastwoods character really hated the polish that bad, he wouldnt go to a polish barber.
thats what enrique is doing.
finally, lets not lose sight of what really important here. this distraction/hiccup with riqqy takes our eyes of the real issue.
if there is any regular poster here who is categorically evil, mean-spirited, hateful, self-insisting, tenaciously provocative while pretending to be above the fray, posturing like a "mature aficionado" while spouting slurs and vulgarity, piling up so much negative karma even satan shakes his head and says "whew!", if theres is any ban-poll-worthy, run it out of town before more people go missing, egotistical, always always always always having the least word-

In all actuality, I enjoyed MOS.
Sure, it's FAR from perfect, and I really don't like the direction they're taking the character in some ways, but I enjoyed the film.
