Died at his home at age 87. He was the definitive Jimmy Olsen IMO or at the very least the one who set the tone for the character from then on and he was great at it. He always brought an element of comic relief.

Awesome...check out these cameos in the latest issue of Batman '66. Make a full crossover issue happen, DC. The fun and possibilities are endless.

How about this for a weird time travel/crossover: remember when Zod and Co were were blowing stuff over in Metropolis. They happened to blow over the news stand that was running the "White House surrenders". Look what else was on that news stand. An advert for a then new flick called "King Of The Gypsies". It featured a very young Eric Roberts(then 19 years old) in the lead role. The same Eric Roberts who would later play Salvatore Maronni in the Dark Knight(almost 28 years later)!

Love it! What's the issue #? Issue 30. Sadly it's the final issue but I think they'll continue to do some specials and one shots. With this year being the 50th anniversary of the show that's a no brainer. How about this for a weird time travel/crossover: remember when Zod and Co were were blowing stuff over in Metropolis. They happened to blow over the news stand that was running the "White House surrenders". Look what else was on that news stand. An advert for a then new flick called "King Of The Gypsies". I love spotting stuff like that in movies. I remember the kick I got from noticing the Blade Runner poster on Superman III for the first time. I've been trying to figure out that the other posters are during the junkyard fight.

Yeah....trying to work on the other poster next to Blade Runner in Supes III....will see if 4K projection does the trick. was always fascinated by this in the shop window in SII: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leroy_Hutson

It's a pity that they didn't try to put any Batman related items into the ads... I notice it's all WB movies- but then again, since it was an 'indie' project (still hard to imagine, decades later!) licensed from WB, I guess they didn't want to push their luck or have the interest to at that point. Pity.

It's always amusing to see photos like that. Apparently ol Bix had something going with her for real. That lucky b*stard.

Speaking of not aging... Superman and Phil Coulson The stuff you notice years later. Has Clark Gregg always looked kinda middle aged?

That's funny- I know exactly what you mean..... some actors who look 'old' (or older) to begin with, end up having the last laugh when the years start to set in over the younger looking ones who don't seem to age as well.

Patrick Stewart. He looked about the same for a good 20 years. Even in Excalibur and Lifeforce he basically looked the same for years after.

What's weird is I never thought Stockard Channing was that attractive when she was young, but gorgeous as the first lady in "West Wing" years later. Same with Susan Sarandon in her later versus younger years.

Marc McClure and Michael Landes at last years Superman celebration. It's too bad they couldn't have gotten all these guys together for a featurette for something when Jack Larson was still alive. I loved the Jimmy Olsen sit down they did for one of the Smallville DVDs.

Seg-El and Kal-El, grandfather and grandson. Every time I see a pic of Routh, I think Superman and not Ray Palmer....

That’s almost more Jimmys than the fans can handle. The Flash and Ross Webster.
