I hope so. I hope God takes his humanitarian work in consideration to get into Heaven. I hope he didn't strike out by having children out of wedlock.  It was before obama made churches pay for condoms even though he could just buy his own. |

I've always thought there's a GREAT movie in the story of making superman the movie.
Get the coens to do it. Just tell it like it is. Made up as it went. Buncha diva actors , out of their depth producers and a stubborn director.

Who cares anyway? When you saw later Reeve interviews when he was gearing up for SIV I actually thought he sounded quite smug. He certainly didn't sound like the shy young man he was in 1978. Hes not perfect, who cares, he was absolutely excellent at what he did. Yep, agree totally. |

The part about the producers running and hustling to make this impossible dream happen would be fascinating.
Say what one will, without the Salkinds, there would be no Superman movie.
(Though without Donner there would be no GREAT Superman movie. Lester would have turned in quality of the Superman III variety)

IFC.com caught up with Michael Shannon at the Film Independent Spirit Awards and asked him just terrifying his General Zod will be in "Man of Steel".
"He's actually a not very scary guy," Shannon said. "He's just trying to do his job, just like anybody."
That almost makes Zod seem like he'd be a little relatable. And apparently he is, at least to Shannon. He just isn't sure if other people will be able to make the same connection with Zod that he did.
"I don't know, you know? I don't want to say," Shannon hedged. "Some people might hate him, some people might love him. But I'm fond of him. I respect him."
