I only recently realised that Ethan in Supergirl was also Ellis in Die Hard. Stop yanking me, atp! It was cool that Bochner and Slater both ended up in the DCAU inBatman TAS and Mask of The Phantasm.

Ditto. Typically find myself agreeing with everything those guys say. Olivers channel really deserves more success because he puts in a lot of effort and does great work with editing, audio, video, etc. Not like some guys on YouTube who just stand in front of a green screen and talk and don’t even go very in depth doing that. His restrospectives and reviews really do cover it all. Agreed. I do respect the amount of time he puts into the presentation, that could easily be overlooked. To me that separates professional analysts from the guys who just do it for a hobby. He and guys working with him really take it seriously and do it professionally. It’s cool to do it as a hobby but I think the better presentation should be getting more attention and making more money on YouTube.

It's a nice thought- and I agree, but I know a few folks who fight like heck for a professional project on youtube, only to not get the numbers of people who film stuff in their backyard or a script.... so I think I'm used to that now...

Well you’re right and that’s why some people do it on the cheap whether they could afford to do more or not. I won’t name names but I think a lot of those guys who do online reviews appeal to people just like them. Read into that what you will.

I've seen some things made in the backyard that get zillions of hits and support them financially, that leave me scratching my head. On the flip side- apparently the rules have changed to make it more difficult to make money on youtube- but then again, the service to host it is free in the first place.... so there is that...
