I actually enjoy the Fandome events- (It's FREE, what's not to enjoy?)
But given the slaughterhouse that's happening at DC (good/bad? Hard to say until we see results)...
Thought to put out my own fake Fandome 2022 announcement:
"Attention DC Fans!
This year's Fandome will be the most eventful yet!
First off: The star and directors of "Batgirl" will be handed a box of tissues by the WB accountant as they promote the locking away of all film of Batgirl into a vault to be sealed off forever. No Q & A.
Secondly: Aquaman 2: aka: Let's wait for the controversy to die down. Zero footage will be shown, along with a live in person with Jason Mamoa and Amber Heard, both of whom who will not be allowed to say a word until next year. Or the year after, whenever we decide to put out the movie.
Thirdly: Flashpoint: Zero footage will be shown, along with an announcement of how Flashpoint will signal the end of phase minus zero at the DCEU and connect to no further films, tv shows, or books after the film, even though the film is apparently great. Sarah Calle as the new Supergirl will be on stage, who will not allowed to say a word, but also be handed a tissue as all pre-production materials for the newly cancelled Supergirl movie also gets put into the vault next to Batgirl.
Final wrapup: a giant text document of DC's magnificent 10-year plan. No further details except that it will bring a brand new era of excitement as we announce next year's 2023 Fandome!"
