Your faux attempts at sophistication are canceled out by just about every thread you've made. I've even read the ones you posted, which you quickly deleted. I also had a great new line reading between Lois and Clark at Niagra Falls. y'know , the other day i made mashed potatoes , except i substituted a few of the reg'lar tater for sweet potatoes , which made them an orange-ish color , and it tasted very nice.
it also helps to sautee onions untill caramalised , in a measuring cup mix 1/4- 1/3 cup balsamic vinegar - and a couple tablespoons of brown sugar. pour this over the onions and simmer till its a thick black sauce. drizzle some of this sauce over the mashed potatoes.....
...mmmmm......

now mrs jor likes to make a potato cassarolle , the potatoes are scalloped , heavily seasoned , and put into a baking dish. add chopped onions and a block of cheddar cheese crumbled up. toss ingrediants together. add a few cups of skim milk.
sometimes i nag her to add some shredded ham or some chopped , tender cooked bacon ( don't overcook bacon- if it turns to tree bark its nasty- you want it about the texture of jerky- but a tad softer ) .
it can be baked or put into the microwave. very hearty side dish.

This is a response to the post about "Why the World Needs Brandon Routh as Superman." I don't think he should be Superman because of his name.... I mean BRANDON?  Come'on gimmie a break, that's right outta 90210... you can't take someone named Brandon seriously. Christopher Reeve was the perfect name for someone to be Superman!!! Notice the similarities between "Chris" and "Christ" it's pretty obvious why Donner and the gang chose him. Even George Reeves was a great Superman because George is a classic all around AMERICAN name....except for that one King.... who we in the States biatch slapped!!!..... Now I know Keanu Reeves maybe wouldn't have been right for Superman cause that name is fuckin off the hook!! However, at least his last name woulda been consistent with the Supermen that had come before him! But oh yeah BRANDON ROUTH??? Couldn't ever been seriously considered a great Superman just because of his name!! How old is Nic Cage's son now? HE is my one and only choice to play Superman!! ... so, Adam, was that supposed to be funny or are you serious about it?? If you were trying to be funny..... well, you failed. But if you are actually serious, can I ask you, did Brandon kick your dog or your GIJoe action figures or something? Or even worse, did he sleep with your mom? Cuz in that case I'd understand your hate for him. I didn't mention your girlfriend cuz I understand you're underage... and it shows.  |
