Why would Lois have told Clark, someone she would just as soon walk past as talk to, where she lives immediately upon him becoming her coworker?
And what kind of job has employees that go around saying, "Hey, you're sitting next to Lois Lane! You know she has a massive penthouse apartment at such and such address on the top floor?"
Sure. SURE that's what happened, sure.

Well, regardless, it would seem that people would rather watch a CGI Brandon Routh than a poorly put together Christopher Reeve.
According to your poll, anyhow.
That's gotta sting just a leetle beet.

And what kind of job has employees that go around saying, "Hey, you're sitting next to Lois Lane! You know she has a massive penthouse apartment at such and such address on the top floor?" Sure. SURE that's what happened, sure. Because it's a movie; Clark just found out somehow. Supes didn't follow her home it would be completely out of character. Y'know sometimes the simplest expanation is the correct one. Y'know Clark and Lois DID have a date that night... member? She obviously had told Clark where she lived ... she wasn't like WTF Clark how did you know where I live?? I can't believe I gotta explain this... Have you guys even seen STM? BTW in STM it was innocent of Supes to look @ her lungs with X-Ray vision; he didn't see anything naugty or private.. and it was to check her health... he coulda caught something serious there the way she is always smoking. In SR, however, he looks into her right pocket while standing to her left meaning her saw completely through her south of the equator w/o her permission... in STM he had permission to do that and he stopped at her underwear because THAT scene wasn't written by a couple of kids who didn't remotely know Superman.

10 folks here like SR... that's how many people saw it too, which is why there will be no sequel. The people have spoken... SR is done... finished... it will be ignored in all future installments, soon it will be as if it never was. Hey ever notice there is no SR section on the main site? I think I read a review by someone here that said "you'll believe a CGI Brandon Routh can zoom across the screen!" I liked that observation.
The Donner Cut may be broken and it's pieces are not greater than the sum of it's parts, but they are still great pieces... I'd rather have part of a masterpiece than the whole of mediocrity.

So if I stuck a giant X-ray machine next to your head and used it you wouldn't care?
face facts, Adam. Just cause you don't like it doesn't mean its wrong. You pick and choose whats "right" solely on your whim. X-raying somebody's body and x-raying their house without permission is still doing it without permission. In both cases it was done out of Superman's love or concern.
If anything its worse. Superman's trying to police Lois and tell her not to smoke? I guess Donner was giving us commie big brother Superman. Its America...Lois can do whatever the heck she wants.
He just found out somehow? thats just you pulling a halfass excuse out of your butt. You gotta do better than that. Kevins right.
Superman's not a deputized officer of the law in Donner's movie. He broke countless laws. Destroyed public property. I don't see him reading Miranda to anybody.

He's still hearing thousands of conversations illegally. if i wanted to talk to my lawyer privately and he hears it is it right? its the same concern Fox had in The Dark Knight. its still wrong by your logic. Instead of listening to one woman he's listening to an entire city without permission. Do they say in the movie that the people TOLD Superman he could illegally listen to them?

lolololol oh Metallo you are too much. Lemme put your excited mind at ease here; in STM Superman obviously knew where Lois lived because Lois told Clark; THEY HAD A DATE THAT NIGHT and Clark had to pick her up!!!
Oh Metallo, Superman only 'hears everyone' by floating above the sky like a moronic pathetic weasel in SR!! There is nothing to suggest in the Reeve films that he eaves drops on anyone!!!

Even though he uses his superhearing and listens to the entire city. And of course destroying public property when he drills through the street then CRASHES through the street.
Theres even more in the other 3 Reeve movies of him looking through things and listening to people without their consent.
And of course theres still the matter of X-raying Lois without her permission. You lose. Nothing more to say really.

10 folks here like SR... that's how many people saw it too, which is why there will be no sequel. Well, it's obvious you don't know simple arithmetic. The film grossed $391,081,192 worldwide. The average ticket price around the world is $10. So, if you divide $391,081,192 by $10 that means 39,108,119.2 people paid to see the film. If my calculations are correct. I maybe a dumb banker.

OMG it was a heath check up with her lungs dude... did you sue your doctor for sexual harassment when you got your colon checked??? Lois was almost asking Supes if she had lung cancer with her glib remark about why she shouldn't smoke... he did her a favor there because he could have detected an early cancer. Read my above post, Superman didnt see anything private in STM w/o permission... but he did in SR; seeing through her hips to her right pocket from her left side which means he saw all the way through her.
Oh and Metallica? Superman only hears Lex Luthors high frequency in STM; he doesn't listen to the entire city. BTW, yeah Superman created a deep pot hole in the street in STM... big deal... I'm sure he filled it back up.

Right you are Legsy! Obviously lots of people went to see SR... it actually made MORE money than Batman Begins... and that film got a sequel! There must be some other reason why SR is gonna be ignored by the studio.... maybe it's because it stinks?

On the point of Donner Cut being a mishmash, I'd say it's more in tone to what superman is. It followed its predecessor pretty well, and yeah, if given more TLC, it could have been better. Like lop off the turn the world back X2, or just hire Stuart Baird on, etc. But the story stays the same as intended and had a better narrative with Jor-El being part of the story.
SR just hoped that by mishmashing history and continuity, then starting in the middle of a story, everything would be alright. It didn't. From unnecessary Ben hubbard still lingering in the movie like a rotting wound, to Luthor being a golddigger, to Superman's gang rape (which it was. I don't consider it appropriate for any Superman story, and won't listen other opinions on this subject. It's one thing for Superman to be involved in inferred premarital sex. Its another when a children's fictional character is violated. It's offensive and unnecessary). I'd rather watch Donner Cut than Superman Returns any day.
