I'd take Returns by a mile. For any of it's problems, it's definitely not the flawed ego-trip that Michael Thau had so stitch together with a popsicle-sticks-and-chewing-gum method. Don't get me wrong, I like nearly anything Superman related (Smallville the exception), but if I had one choice it wouldn't be the Donner Cut. Sorry, Dick.  |

Know what I really hate about SR? LOIS IS A FREAKIN C&^% DIPSH&^!!!!! Superman SAVED HER BLOATED BEHIND 100x in earlier movies and had just saved her worthless butt again on the plane and she acts like the ruddest f&^% in the world to him. She's all nasty like and SNIDE by saying about her horrible article "yeah so did a lot of people tommow there're giving me the pulitzer!" "Then she sarcastically says "you're back and everyone seems real happy about it. then she shows what a weak jerk she is by admitting she only wrote the article because of her girl mood swings by saying "how could you leave us like that!" So wait she says she doesn't need Superman but also is upset he left??? She is just a moody b@#$ because the world was happy to have Superman back, it was only Lois who was pissy toward him! And don't anyone give me crap about ohhh Lois was hurt because she had to raise their kid on her own..... Lois had a great guy who was considered Jason's father so why was she pissed about Superman being gone when she HAD a man?  ? Anyway I thought Superman just should have thrown Lois off the rooftop like the ingrate jackass she is!! Oh and I think it would be funny and be indicative of Lois's retardedness that she wins an award of Why the World Doesn't Need Superman and then she writes another article which contradicts EVRYTHING SHE WROTE... what a moron!!!! So I guess she won't get the award right? |

I'm with SGB on this one. Even a poorly put together Reeve with bad acting is better than watching SR. Reeve is still great when he's acting out-of-touch. SR has it's strong points, but I'm not in love with Singer. The Donner cut gets my vote.

Ever wonder why Lois looks soooooo ugly in Superman II?? It's because she had an eating disorder.
Well I never thought she looked ugly. She lost some of the baby fat from STM because she was older in the Lester footage. You can blame the eating disorder on Lester and his childish jokes. I'm surprised we didn't see Lois skating backwards at niagra falls. Lois has an obsession for orange juice??? Lester ... is a fruit cake. The difference between Donner and Lester is that Donner didn't make Lois look like some dumb orange juice obsessed cigarette habit smoking pass me the meds I'm in love with Superman and it wasn't until I finally realized Clark and Superman are never in the same room together did I realize they could be the same person. Get me a hamburger with everything on it at 3am. Ain't I cute? No, Lester. It ain't cute. LOL.

I saw better acting in that bullet sequence that wasn't even shot for the movie than in all of the Lester scenes put together.

You have to admit, Adam puts in a lot of effort into something he DOESN'T like. Me? I didn't care much for SR but I'm not going to belabor the point. It's not like it is going to change anyone's opinion of it anyway.
