Jimmy Olsen's catchphrase (in SR) is " I'm Jimmy Olsen let's go get a Molson!"
Richard Donner's catch phrase is "I'm Richard Donner... and I'm a goner!"
Richard Lester's catch phrase is "I'm Richard Lester.... and i'm even bester!"
WB's catch phrase is "We're the WB... and we are gonna pee... all over Superman in Superman Returns!"

In Donner's Superman III.... Superman should have faced a crazed maniac like the Joker. He's the exact opposite of Zod... he wants anarchy and chaos instead of order and law and Superman would have been at a lose about how to deal with him. Moreso than Batman Superman cannot kill but Joker could have brought Superman dangerously close to using his supreme power to kill him.
That awesome line that Joker gives Gordon in Dark Knight "Does it depress you.... how alone you really are?" would have worked well on Superman because he is alone without Jor-El. Plus Joker could have called him "an alien in red underwear.... a freak... like ME!!!"
Wasn't there a clown villain in Superman... like the Prankster or something.... he coulda been the basis for a Joker like character to face Superman!

A villain to play off of Superman is good. Probably why Brainiac is always brought up. Terrorized Krypton and bottled Kandor makes him one of the big baddies.

man... I'm so clever I wrote these right off the top of my head. I have a Chris Reeve catchphrase... but I'd prolly get in trouble for posting it  But yeah this is great material... any requests for a patented Adam15 catchphrase (doesn't have to be for Superman character) Actually, Jeremy's catchphrase is "sure..okay" like when Superman says "Jeremy would you like to sleep with me?" Jeremy is like "suuuure...okay!" |
