Milton Keynes

I was up MK yesterday and thought I'd check out the locations. You can't go up the Lex and Lenny stairs now as a gym chain has bought it out, and the Daily Planet foyer is looking a bit forgotton and grotty.

The woman was too embarrased to hang around incase I was going to go into geek mode with other people around so only took a few secs footage, which I'll try and bluetooth to laptop and youTube it this evening

The argos HQ (Hotel Metropilis foyer) was bustling. I just walked in, looked around and walked out cos everyone was looking at me! Man, I can't get over how small that place is compared to its size in the movie (where CK runs to the back of the cab)

lol - I've never been to Milton Keynes myself, but the fact Superman IV was shot there interests me. ;D

You should see the locations there. Would have loved to have been on the scout and know what they were really thinking.

All because MK, an overspill from London, is structured like a US town with its straight roads (which ironically you never see in the movie anyway; you just really see the Train Station doubling for the outside of the UN). Probably the most original town centre to visit, although overall its just one very large shopping mall and lots of super-stores.
