geekgasm! LOL! It's the rare fund-raising dinner where both Batman and Superman are on hand.
The draw for Christian Bale and Brandon Routh at Monday's BevHilton Fulfillment Fund dinner was honoree Thomas Tull, whose Legendary Pictures partnered with Warners on "The Dark Knight" and "Superman Returns." www.variety.com/article/VR1117994111.html/?categoryid=38&cs=1&nid=2562Make sure to view the photo gallery. There is a pic of Brandon as well. ....I soo wish to see a World's Finest film with these two. It'd be the best movie ever!

Yeah that's one clip I remember seeing that definitely shows he's put on some muscle. There was a photo as well somewhere from the summer I think, where it clearly showed he was looking bigger.

Well, someone from the imdb boards said this: by alexinator1 1 day ago (Sat Oct 18 2008 23:15:55) "I actually attended this event. Christian Bale introduced John Fogerty so for part of the evening he was backstage. I believe that he and Brandon were sitting at different tables and arrived at separate times, so they wouldn't have been photographed together due to that. The paparrazi were set up at the beginning and middle of the evening...most left towards the end so if Brandon and Christian spoke, they wouldn't have been photographed because they protographers got enough pictures for their needs.
Thomas Tull mentioned both Brandon and Christian in his acceptance speech for the award he was given that night (he was the main honoree of the evening). He joked that both Superman and Batman were in the room, so we didn't have anything else to worry about. " --------------------------------------------------------------- Niiice, good for Brandon. but is it true? Well, it seems that it is true, according to this blog (there is also a link with pictures of Brandon from the event at the end), this is part of it: " The main honoree was Thomas Tull, CEO of Legendary Pictures. He was the executive producer of The Dark Knight and other popular movies. He seems like a very down to earth guy. He mentioned that Brandon Routh (who played Superman in Superman Returns) was at the event also, so if someone was looking for a super hero, Superman and Batman were on hand. When he said Brandon Routh was there I flipped my head about saying to myself, "Where? Where?" I'm not a huge star-gazer, but I'd LOVE to meet him!" lexykinslifehappenings.blogspot.com/2008/10/fulfillment-stars-gala.html ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Interesting.

Good to see Brandon being referred to as 'Superman', all helps to reaffirm his status as Superman and stop any dumbass studio types thinking then need some idiotic recasting - Hulk stylie.

Was there a pic with Bale and Routh together? I always like that pic of Superman (Reeve) staring down The Terminator (Arnold)... Looks like Tinkerbell was there too (seacrest).

sorry, nothing personal, man, but this kinda humour really bores the heck out of me these days... this is exactly why i don't watch family guy anymore.... it's pretty much the same deal every time they do a skit like this (which is a damn lot)... they simply take an extravagant person and bring him/her down to an "every man" level. done to death. next! EDIT: oh! and happy new year to you, too, man!
