FIRST CHOICE:
henry cavill is superman in JL- the universe is "shared". i want cavill as superman for MOS II to be an early summer release, and JL for a late summer release. bam! pow!
i do not want them to be overly "connected" in that MOSII should not be a two hour commercial for JL. they should be nearly concurrent stories with their own narrative. i wouldnt even mind if in JL the director had the MOS suit modified slightly- it'd be cool to shake it up like that. heck- give him trunks!
superman is now a seasoned hero- he is a strong leader and i don't want the "dysfunctional family" of bay-vengers. i want to see a well oiled machine. batman is the military-tactition, wonder woman a pro-active fighter, GL is not fracking idiot and superman is THE MAN.
SECOND CHOICE:
cavil is superman in JL- for a cameo in a climactic scene. let's say the JL is at it taking care of darksied or warworld or whatever... at some point batman says "time to call in some heavy artillery" and we hear a sonic boom as superman whooshes into the situation to beat the poop out of said villain.
THIRD CHOICE:
superman is referred to, but not depicted. do NOT make it a point to say things that conflict or continuity-f*ck MOS/MOSII. take a scene from MOSII- have it be on a tv screen and batman says "well...he's busy" and we move on.
F*CK YOU WB:
another actor plays superman in JL. wearing hand-me-down costumes. F*CK.YOU.WB.

My two cents;
I have to admit that as much as I hated how "Supergirl" turned out.... I LOVED at least seeing the bit where Helen Slater reaches out to the Superman/Reeve poster image in that film.
Even though Reeve decided not to be part of the film, and even though I thought the rewritten script was horrible, it still was nice to see that kind of connection of it being in the same universe, even though it didn't save the movie, and even though it was very slight.
Will probably feel the same way if they go this route with the JLA and Supes/Cavill. If the movie ends up sucking, I don't see it really affecting MOS.... unless, of course, the studio sees JLA as MOS II (just as Fox saw Elektra as sortof- Daredevil II initially).

Yikes! That's even worse than what I was thinking... Just strangely reminded of that time where you had a quasi-superman tv show for ten years- but superman was only in it for 5 minutes and they couldn't be bothered to make a suit for him and just handed him one they raided from brandon rouths dressing room.

Didn't the SR suit also get used in a Japanese car commercial with Matt Bomer? ;D

prepare yourselves for a SHOCK:
August 26, 2012: Wachowskis Next in Line for "Justice League"? Justice League MovieHole.net claim that a source close to Warner Bros. has indicated to them that Lana and Andy Wachowski could be next in line to direct the proposed "Justice League" movie now that Ben Affleck has decided it's not for him.
What I'm told is Warner Bros are apparently jazzed with "Cloud Atlas", and love that it's as much a spectacle as it is a showcase for the immense ensemble involved, so it makes sense the W's are under consideration. "Justice League" needs to be as big on character, as it does bells & whistles, and the Wachowski's could probably offer that.

After the horrible "V for Vendetta" adaptation scripted/produced by the Wachowskis & Matrix 2 and 3---- I'd be REALLY worried.
George Miller has a far better resume. Even with all the weirdness that was in the press about his JLA, I'd have far more faith in a George Miller superhero film than a Wachowski superhero film....

I'd be fracking ecstatic about a JL movie by the Wachowski Siblings. Cloud Atlas looks fascinating and Speed Racer OWNED, so...yeah...

I thought V for Vendetta was pretty good. I prefer it to the GN which I find to be quite dry and far less interesting.

I have friends who also liked it, too--- But to me-- Visually, I thought it great (much like Watchmen), but the Wachowski's decisions to change it into a terrible love story bugged the heck out of me, plus their own decision to keep the girl whose death sparked the revolution alive at the end (suprise!) --- changed it enough for me not to feel the main character just wasn't credible to me anymore (felt like elements were forced in that felt fake) and didn't feel like I could reccomend it after that.

thing is, speed racer was such an out there idea- a big budget blockbuster based on a kitschy cartoon, it was one of those movies that had no business getting that kind of treatment.
but even though i never gave a poop about speed racer i thought it was a cool movie.
V for Vendetta was cool, but we need it NOW more than we did then. Cloud Atlas LOOKS cool, but i'll wait and see. i hope its as amazing as i think it is.
IF we get the watchowskis that made "matrix 1" and NOT the ones that made "matrix 3" then i would think they'd be a good enough choice.

PAUL! RAL! where are you? ;D Rebooted BATMAN Rumored To Make Debut In The JUSTICE LEAGUE Film Sources close to fansite Batman-On-Film state that a new cinematic take on the character of The Caped Crusader, Batman will be seen first in the upcoming Justice League movie from Warner Bros. and not in a stand-alone film. Read on for more. Read more at www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/NerdyGeek/news/?a=66441#fVTAyBqD125mj2Bq.99 The rumor mill for the Justice League movie continues. Reports from sources close to Batman-On-Film claim that The Dark Knight himself, Batman will appear in the Justice League movie (which will be written by Gangster Squad scribe, Will Beall) as a rebooted character and not in a stand-alone film. Nothing is confirmed yet of course, so we may get a stand-alone Batman reboot after all. Read what BOF had to say down below.
"Said [Batman] reboot will come after the JL film, not before. Therefore, the new cinematic Batman will be introduced in the JL film as opposed to a solo film. This would, according to my industry "FOBOF," assure the new Batman film series will be part of a "DC Cinematic Universe." - Batman-On-Film Read more at www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/NerdyGeek/news/?a=66441#fVTAyBqD125mj2Bq.99

places gun in mouth. Superman Super Site is reporting that sources close to the project are hearing Brett Ratner's name being bandied about. Studio executives are said to be very interested.
"The studio is very pleased with the work that Brett [Ratner] has done as a producer and director on past projects," states our sources. "They are now very interested in seeing what he can do with helping finally bring this group of iconic superheroes to the big screen!"
The filmmaker is best known for directing the Rush Hour franchise, starring Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker. Justice League wouldn't be his first foray into the comic book genre as he already has X-Men: The Last Stand under his belt. Which was the follow-up to Bryan Singer's two previous film's. It was considered a disappointment among fans and critics, but nevertheless it was a huge hit at the box office, becoming the highest grossing film in the series.
One of the few hiccups in this plan is that Brett Ratner has just started pre-production on a fourth Rush Hour film. Read more at www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/nailbiter111/news/?a=66439#pbpiz5OEhQU1V1yP.99
