I just put Superman the Movie (special edition version) on Netflix, and it has a different Warner logo than I'm used to. I know the film usually has the old black and white version, but this one started with a monochrome version of the up-to-date blue and yellow sheild. I haven't watched the old 2001 DVD release for a very long time, can anyone tell me what the logo was for that?

Are you the booshman who made the Superman II fan edits? I noticed you released two separate Superman II cuts. One in 2007 "The Booshman Cut" and one in 2010 "The Redux Cut". I would guess just based on the reviews - and the fact that you had 3 additional years to learn about film editing/rescoring/FX work/etc - that the latter is a more polished product. Would you agree? Or do they represent alternate takes? And now the big question... how can I obtain my DVD copy? (I assume they would work on a PS3 blu-ray)

That logo is weird- How odd- I can't recall if the original WB logo was in Red w/black logo or if it was white on black anymore (it's been too long).

I think both of them are worth a watch just to see the progression and the variation between the two. As you mention the latter is definitely more polished, but I have had mention that some prefer parts of the first version over the later one. If you can only get one, I would of course recommend the later version. All of my edits and projects are available on Usenet. I did have them on Rapidshare for a few years before they changed their model and I put them somewhere they would actually stay up for a while. Usenet is pretty cheap for downloads, and you can even find free trials that will give you enough GB to get a disc down. That logo is weird- How odd- I can't recall if the original WB logo was in Red w/black logo or if it was white on black anymore (it's been too long). The logo for STM is B/W, but not this one, it was the older: Not sure why the Netflix version is different, but if anyone can fill me in why I'd be interested to know.

As far as the download goes, is it just one big file that you burn to a DVD? I know in the past I had to download each chapter as a separate file and use some type of software to assemble the pieces. That was a pain and not sure I want to go through that again. I'd just as well spend a few bucks to have it shipped.

So once you have all of the bits you extraxt the disk image file for burning or playing on a PC. It's really simple as long as you have all of the bits. In response to your earlier question, yeah it works fine on a PS3 and regular DVD players. Unfortunately as I'm in China so I might not be the best person to ask for a copy. Maybe someone on here a bit more local to you could help out.

I'm not stupid or lazy or anything... but is there a primer for downloading the necessary software to make this happen?
Also, how much hard drive space do I need altogether?
