Well.... I have to give DC/WB credit for one thing about their new projects: (Including Supes vs. Batfleck)... Pretty good at secrecy thus far-
The only question (open speculation) is: What's taking so long at this point?
1- Nothing. Smooth planning & it's all fx work. 2- Reshoot madness and rewrite madness. 3- Back to back shooting behind the scenes of JLA- if that's the case, then their attention to secrecy is AMAZING. 4- Still--- nothing is being pushed back, so, who knows?
While I fault Snyder for story and performances- he apparently knows how to stay on budget and on schedule- so, maybe things are going well. Hard to know.
Regarding the other projects:
There's been zero news on the movie Flash since announcing a different actor than the tv actor for it (If WB has paid attention to the generally good reception on the net to the tv Flash show- maybe they're trying to figure out a way to let the actor go without looking bad?)
But- a still image of Jason Mamoa as Drago/Aquaman..... but no announcement of director.
On Wonder Woman, there's a director, but it doesn't seem like people are jumping up and down in excitement over it.
Until there's more.... any speculation?

Just seems to me they're still deciding what to do in some cases. Id be shocked if they have a clear idea of what to do with Shazam. New 52 will obviously be a template but they need a Feige and Snyder isn't that guy. Neither is Goyer. Unlike Marvel DC Isnt running the show here. WB is.

DC is making such a mess of their comics now, that even a couple of comic shop dealers were mentioning how their DC sales were falling tremendously while Image was going up.
I think it's best to have low expectations and just hope that there are at least a few good superhero films from DC/WB in the near future.
As far as the other studios that aren't Marvel are concerned....
20th Century Fox has Singer.....but for how long? There's no indication that he's sticking around after the next X-men (or if he's interested in staying on). And the Fantastic Four film is a big question mark at this point.
Sony is also a question mark, but bowing down to Marvel is at least (perhaps) a step in the right direction.

MOS is a platform to launch other franchises and NOT a-la-Avengers. Avengers' characters already have a franchise for the most part. DC-WB is dying in movieland. If this doesn't work - it's really bye-bye for some decades. BUT it is working. With Supergirl coming out - DC will have 4 tv shows and will probably have 1-2 more every year (while some will die out). At the same time, Marvel is not doing so great with Shield and Carter. Shield season 3 will be the last and Carter - might be renewed a second year - not sure. Why is that? These shows need 'superhero' costumes and 'superhero' action. Through all the bs soap - Arrow still has the edge over Marvel. However, when it comes to movies - Marvel beats DC with one hand tied to the back. First of all - stories are better, characters are allowed to smile and SPECIAL EFFECTS ARE BETTER.

AOS is doing ok. So is Agent Carter and it's far more acclaimed. Most of the DC shows are on smaller network so lowered expectations all around. Arrow is bogged down in soap opera crap. Flash is a good show tho. Constantine is on the bubble so DC isn't doing perfect. Gothams poop but it is getting another season. Out of all the DC and marvel shows Marvels got the most acclaimed one right now with Daredevil. Jury's still out on Supergirl. Much like Gotham it sounds half assed. Or better yet birds of prey. A show where the top hero is absent?
I hate DiDio and Lee. DiDio is a fool, The Avi Arad of DC, and Lee is a sellout who maybe isn't as great as everyone used to think he was. Once those guys got in charge DC comics saw a sharp decline in quality all around. It's sad.

A comic shop owner told me how sales at DC have nose dived shortly after the new 52--- and that people pick up more Image now and indies than DC. Pity, but I wasn't digging what they were doing, either...
